if have british passport you don't need visa
need to fill in some online form (for free) and then you just turn up. can stay for 90 days at a time maximum. |

What would be best if I wanted to stay longer? Can you just fly out the country and then back in and be issued with another 90 days? |

yeah. leaving (eg to mexico) for an hour (better check this but i think its right) and then coming back gives you another 90 day tourist visa

when i say an hour, i mean one minute. just need to leave and come back.

make sure you re enter on the back of a truck, can't see immigration taking too kindly to that

i would like to know this too. i know its a maximum of 30 days on the visa waiver programme. aparently its valid to 2 years but it doesnt say how long u can spend there it just says that immigration can refuse you entry when u get there! and im prety sure u cant just go back into mexico or canada. Im just leaving it least the same time i was there for b4 i go back
