Hmmm,
I keep meaning to put a few quid on someone every now and then when I'm running well, So that by the time It's actually played I could be collecting a few quid. but I dont think I'll be going for the 2 favorites or phil ivey

Are you putting any money on it ?
Report ocukstinky October 30, 2009 1:32 PM GMT
I've said Begleiter since the end of day 8 so I can't really change my mind now.

Akenhead might be a good shout, playing very solid and won't make crazy all-ins like many amateurs have done in previous final tables, one of them is bound to mess up royally here. Shame Philip Hilm isn't there again..
Report coolhandlu October 31, 2009 9:11 AM GMT
Begleiter is a luckbox. Called a 4 bet allin with AQ when down to the last 30 or so, the other bloke Veddes i think had KK. Of course Begleiter hitting both AQ. I wouldnt put to much on him

Akenhead or Ivey need a Double up early doors , then they have a good chance. But still think it is asking too much considering stacks sizes , even with the structure.

i think Shulman is a good bet for 2nd or third dont think he has too much gamble for winnig it.

I think Eric Buchman is a good bet , decent stack and can play.

you lot a f cking thick!

Its whoever has the luck on the day as poker is a game of luck you sad nonces. Talking as if poker is a skill game is complete b ollox and all you dillusional sad losers need to get a life and stop sitting in front of a computer screen trying to make out ur making a living by winning £20 a week.

I can also explain my coNclusion using 1 simple rule:

a novice can't win wimbledon tennis

a novice can't score 100 at lords in internation al cricket

a novice can't win the open gOLf

A NOVICE CAN AND HAS WON THE BIGGEST POKER TOURNEYS!!!

backed buchman @ 5,7 a few weeks ago. all of them can play, even darwin moon. hope that begleiter drops out early, cant stand him.
Report FFsmd November 4, 2009 7:02 PM GMT
Darwin moon obv rode his luck to get here, and says himself he hit flop after flop,he would of been tutored the last few months which may or may not help him, sometimes ignorence is bliss and a little bit of knoledge dangerous.I dont expect him to fair well.
Report slimfast November 5, 2009 2:38 AM GMT
If you actually watch any of the espn coverage you'll see that Moon's played his hands relly well. Seems to know pretty much where he is at all times. He's also stated that he won't be getting any coaching.

Just read this......filled a few gaps in my knowledge...
Report FFsmd November 5, 2009 3:27 PM GMT
I dont think moon did play that well myself, i think his queen high flush on a paired board against only other huge stack was over played, he should of gone for pot control on the turn. And his 88 busting AA, he simple didnt have enough implied odds in his opponants stack to set mine.
Report FFsmd November 5, 2009 3:29 PM GMT
Iam not trying to put him down, just saying hes making mistakes and i feel the skills on the ft of the others will easy overcome his chip stack.
Report Guybrush November 5, 2009 8:23 PM GMT
think moon played quite well, he had to call with qj after heraised. he played his set very well against the aces. he played abc-poker but thats fine. he will have his shot...

Even If I put less money on it

ARGH !!!!!

Dunno what to do now, But I know I'm gonna regret it if he wins and I dont place anything on it

I think Shulman at 7/1 is a good bet, he has as much WSOp experience as anyone. And looks better value than Ivey as he has almost twice as many *****
