It is the last mountain stage. I don't understand why quintana is 7/5. He will just control the race and not go for the win. It is an unwritten rule in cycling when you win the tour you let the stage win to others. Ok, Eddy Merx didn't care.
You can't compare. It wasn't the last mountain stage of the tour de france. But you are right that froome even attacked in the last mountain stage of the tour de france 2013. But he didn't win the stage.

I remember Froome gifting that stage to Quintana, so perhaps your unwritten rule theory has some legitimacy, however Quintana isn't one who follows rules, apparently.

SP.... I'm surprised at u. It's clear u were watching a different race from me. Froome sat in Quintana and purito's wheel and attacked with a few Km to go....Quintana set off in pursuit and caught Froome and then left him for dead. Purito then jumped Froome and grabbed 2nd. Gifting the stage my ass

Had a pop at Basso for small money. Should be super motivated and soft pedaled yesterday. Not sure he has it any more but at 450's worth a couple of quid.

Wanted to wait to see who and how far the break went, now happy this will go down the GC riders. Still able to get Quintana at 6/5 think thats a great price. The only danger i can see is maybe Rolland going on the attack from a long way out, at one last desperate attempt to make the podium. But looks nailed on for Quintan from here.

silly Quintana Odds. Before the race and during the race. Maglia rosa Group was 7.30 min down before the last 9km. Thats almost 1 Minute for 1 km. Yesterday the 50 th lost about 7 30 in 20 km. Quintana was traded 9/1 should have been 100/1.

Think Quintana has become a public bet. Might be worth watching that, made a fortune off Wiggins in small races when the money was backing on name alone.

Had a fair look at this today, and couldn't find it, unfortunately. All I got was he was 10/1 once the market realized the winner was going to come from the breakaway. The only thing I might suggest it to email a Book you bet with regularly. SP

Clay -- perhaps I wasn't so much watching a different race than remembering this stage differently. Nevertheless, I did back him to win that stage, and even mentioned that it might be the case that he is gifted the stage by Froome if circumstances allow, and well that's how I remember it... fondly.
