Stage 13
FOSSANO - RIVAROLO CANAVESE
23th May 2014
157 KM - Flat

Right then:- a flat stage before the high mountains.

A fairly simple one this. Bouhanni is 4/6 for this after three straight sprint wins, all of which I've been on. He's clearly the most likely winner, and a win for him would further help with the red jersey, which I'm also on at 15/1. There's no climbs to worry the sprint teams, with the final climb 30km out. However, this price is not a play for me. There's a chance a break could stay out or maybe Bouhanni could get beaten in the finale at last. I don't have the image to post of the last few kms but I can tell you they are pretty flat, however from 1km-500 yards there is a slight incline. It's only 3.3% but it may favour Sky's train with the very strong and in-form Boassen-Hagen final man, and my play is Ben Swift 16/1 each way with PP.

Wonder if there will be some brinksmanship from the sprinters' teams here about who should chase the break down?
