I thought on the 19th August we would see John Price make his first appearance in a final this year. It didn't quite happen for Price and he ended up losing all 3 of the round-robin games. The 1990 World Indoor Singles champions can beat anyone on his day and shouldn't be underestimated.

A great win for Jarrad Breen on the 19th August ensured he's still in with a shout for making it in the Champion of Champions. That was his 3rd event win of the year but surprisingly Breen has only won 40% of his games. It just goes to show that he can play well under the pressure of a final but just needs to be more consistent in the group stage. He's still young and with how's performed this year he's definitely a future world champion.

The last 2 tournaments haven't been the best for Robert Paxton. He's now missed out on the final in his last 2 outings and has slipped down the overall table. He needs a big performance today and I think he has it in him to claim at least 75 points.

Greg Harlow leads the way in the Champion of Champions table with 425 points. He looks set already to finish in the top 4. There was a slight dip on the 20th August when he finished in 3rd place but I fully expect the former world champion to take his 8th event win today.

Match Predictions

08:00: John Price v Jarrad Breen - John Price 1.78
09:00: Robert Paxton v Greg Harlow - Robert Paxton 2.16
10:00:John Price v Robert Paxton - Robert Paxton 1.83
11:00: Jarrad Breen v Greg Harlow - Greg Harlow 1.55
12:00: Greg Harlow v John Price - Greg Harlow 1.61
13:30: Jarrad Breen v Robert Paxton - Jarrad Breen 1.95
