This is a Peter Sagan stage if ever there was one. But is all well after yesterday's fall?
I can't have Cav at all here....yes if it's a sprint finish he will win but there are surely going to try and shale him off the tree on the climbs and leave him too much to do.
Anyone else think this could be a Tommy Voeckler type of stage? I expect him to have a pop either today or tomorrow. I will throw a few quid each way at Tommy Boy

Too fast for voeckler i'd have thought (he might like tomorrow more?). I have a few quid on Degenkolb matched at 22 last night and pondering a few place bets

Cav for the win

and tony martin starts

Considering a lay of Cav @ 8, figured he'd be much bigger for this stage, suppose backers hoping he'll be brought back on the descent but can't have that, amazed that Tony Martin is still going, tough guy but looking at his injuries he'll do well to finish the stage..all set for another great day, cracking start yesterday Crazy Laugh

There is a stand out price available to back Thomas De Gendt for round 2. 180 which is fantastic considering the guy won a similar round last year in both france and italy, and this year won a Spanish stage which is also not too dissimilar.

Good luck peeps!!

Layers market - still over 140% and spent most of the morning closer to 160%. Even with all the deadwood that`s nice.

Betfair have "any other runner" listed to back yet state in the Rules that other runners will be added on request - The only fair thing to do therefore would be to void bets on "any other runner" OR reverse their policy on adding new runners. Another amateur mistake from BF

I kind of fancy Chavanel to win today.
Report ClayDavis June 30, 2013 1:35 PM BST
I thought Cav would be much bigger too.

europcar riders desperate for TV air time today it seems
Report bb66 June 30, 2013 3:43 PM BST
probably riding for a double attack on the polka dot, as Rolland can't be taken serious for GC

Europcar are finished as a sponsor at the end of the year I think, so they probably have to think about attracting a new sponsor.

I managed to get £2 worth and then went in again but dropped to 10s, must have been up there for a good 20 seconds

Gotta say the TDF markets this year so far seem to have fewer shrewdies active than in the last couple of years. Reminds me of the good ole days.

Lets see if the stage 3 win market is 150% an hour before the start tommorow...
Report RAPS June 30, 2013 5:21 PM BST
^^  a fact that may be relevant.

Since the last TDF the Betfair exchange has been shut down in Germany, Spain, Italy and Belgium at least... Italy too I think
Report kellydamo June 30, 2013 6:07 PM BST
love the TDF but even more so on the exchanges, a great way to build your bank for next to nothing.  Didnt know that BF has been shut down in parts of europe?  Why s that? tax laws?
Report RAPS June 30, 2013 8:19 PM BST
All these countries brought in a 5% (more in some cases?)Turnover tax on all bets which BF clearly can`t afford to pay given the exchange model so only the hideous BF Sportsbook is available to the poor sods in most of Europe.

As a Betfair refugee I am now in my third country and there are rumours that even here (Croatia) A tax will come in - I have a horrible feeling that I will soon be living in the UK as nowhere else will allow mw to bet in-play on this exchange and fecked if I would ever go back to working in an office..
