While Bisping isn't given the credit he is due, it seems every time he fights someone at the top of the tree he gets beat.
Belfort still has plenty to offer despite being around for ages, his last two losses coming against Jon Jones and Anderson Silva.

Bisping gets hit too easy in fights and can see him getting beaten up by a smothering Belfort assault.

Belfort looked great on the scales and in his homeland I reckon he should be fav.

I'm going Bisping.

The first round is the acid test. Gets through that and he's got this. 5 rounds too will be in his favour too. Think he knows full well he can't do anything stupid early else its good night but other than that don't think he has that much to fear from Vitor.

Yeah Belfort looked great on the scales...anyone would look great after shredding 30-35lbs prefight. Bisping is use to the weight cut but Belfort keeps yo-yoing between the divisions that it must take its toll at somepoint.

Fighting in Brazil...dont forget Bisping endured a spell when he was the UFCs most hated and got booed every fight he took. Brazil shouldn't be a problem. Actually think its a very smart move by the UFC hierarchy....a Silva - Bisping title fight will happen in Brazil. The PPV will sell in the US regardless but absolutely building Bisping's profile in Brazil will be massively important to them..so what better way to do that than than have him fight one of Brazil's favourites in Brazil.

Heard the theory about Belfort beating Anthony Johnson pretty easily. The idea being Belfort has the tools to neutralize Bisping's wrestlting. People conviently forget Johnson completely blew his weight cut and was seriously ill only a day before the fight. no wonder Belfort ran through him.

Fightwise...think Bisping will be a bit sharper out the blocks and look for takedowns early. Think that's the gameplan. Takedowns and pressing Belfort on the cage for long periods. Lopsided win on points....needs to get through the first round though.

bisping is the bet here ..purely cos his cardio is better than anyone in the business..belfort will be throwing haymakers by the 2nd as bisping will be too quick imo.
