What did he do so far to make u think he's stronger than Froome? A full boots lay at 1.5.

He's a better time trialer than Froome. He's a better climber than froome. He has a great record in grand tours. Oh and he's a better rider than Froome full stop. I hope this helps

Froome drops Contador

I'd also say its extremely debatable as to whether he's a better TTer than Froome. I would expect to see Froome take time off Contador in the Vuelta TT.

I'm so glad I absolutely filled my boots laying Cheatador 1/2. Lay Davis - make money. He aint the same without the drugs!

Froome will obviously beat the GC contenders on the TT tomorrow.

What happened to him today.?
Short sharp powerfull bursts distinctly lacking.

Short 1-2km hills have never really been Contador's cup of tea. That plus the obvious less-than-ideal prep for this race (talking about lack of hard racing as opposed to his doping regime - doubt anything has changed there). Saturday will see him to better effect but it looks like it could be a close race. Froome is more confirmation that Sky seem to have beaten "fatigue"

It was always going to be the end of the Vuelta that would see if Froome could compete in this after the Tour. Froome might be a decent lay at some time over the next few days. Not yet though, as I still expect to see him shorten from here.

no sign of claydavis Laugh

p.s. think purito has a good shout in this. The parcours is made for him. ok he'll lose maybe 1-2 mins on the TT but remember he missed the tour de france to concentrate on this and, as marychain says, that may well pay dividends in the last week.

Contador couldn't give a sh!t about today's stage. he will smash Froome in the TT.

Some people need to watch cycling more and stop guessing

I'd go Froome 1/2 Contador 2/1 in a match bet on this TT

Rodriguez 7/1ew looks absolutely cracking. Already got a huge green on him from laying Cheatador but topping up.
