Are we looking at the same stage ? The last 6 km average just over 3% - not saying it's impossible for him to win but it's hard to think of a worse "uphill" finish for him

yes but it's fairly long climb...13.5km - average gradient of 5.2%. When this finish has been in before it's been won by the top riders

I didnt see this fred yesterday, but that finish was never, ever going to suit Contador. He didnt even win the previous climb finish, and that was much more his cup of tea other than the very late plateau.

Just dont see why you would think a long, shallow drag would suit Contador. It isnt aftertiming Laugh when I didnt have a bet.
