who ya got? im going for a big bet on evans, phil davis has overated wrestling who struggled to take down little nog a while ago, his stand up is not in the same league as rashad's either in my opinion. haven't really looked at the other fights yet, although einemo could be a decent underdog to bet on, his stand up looked good against herman and undoubtedly has a jiu jitsu advantage over russow.
i'm thinking sonnen will win his fight but 1.25 is to short for me to back, bisping has a very underrated guard and his take down defence is good too(see his fight against rashad evans) however i feel that sonnen has underrated kickboxing, and this could be an interesting affair standing up. it will be interesting to see if bisping's cardio plays a factor here as he has said that he is finding it harder and harder to make weight at 185, and sonnen more than likely will be pressing for takedowns throughout this fight, which could wear bisping out.

I can't see how weidman 4/6 can be favorite over maia 6/5, i think if the fight stay's standing maia will outpoint him. Maia's standup improves with every fight an can see him having the edge there. Weidman has amazing wrestling, but maia has amazing jujitsu. Weidman also took this fight on 2 weeks notice, an even if he takes maia down, you have to constantly stay active on the ground just like munoz, did against maia otherwise you will get submitted. Im not sure if weidman will be able to keep the pace for the duration, thats why i can see maia on points or maia by a late submission.
For me sonnen is an absolute banker against bisping, i just can't see how bisping can win, as much as id love him to. 1/4 isnt to attractive tho but i will include in a multi.
oliveira also should go well, now he has dropped weight class, he was good at lightweight against opponents a lot bigger, so now at featherweight he should be a beast. 1/5 is not to appealing tho.
Evans should win, i doubt davis will be able to take rashard down an keep him there. Evans should be to fast and have to much experience for davis. It does worry me tho how evans has been number 1 contender for so long, and had multiple title shots scrapped through injury. Its almost like it's destiny for him not to fight jones for the title. Hopefully not tho and rashard will get through davis an get his title shot which he deserves.

Did anyone notice Bisping's tone sounds slightly less reassured within the last couple of interviews, especially with Ariel?
Just a quick note to point out the three fight main card begins at 1am UK time. Betfair had it up as a five fight main card starting at 3am.

im just going with a large bet on rashad, and some very small bets on maia, einemo and sonnen, surprised that rashads price hasn't shortened really at all, einemo's has shortend from 3 to 2.5 which i managed to arb quite a lot which was a nice catch
maia odds against. weidman cut +30lbs in lldays. maia was preparing for a much tougher opponent. looking for him to just show his experience and grind this out.

agree with the judges there tbh - sonnen was comfortable and done enough to win that.
one judge had it feckin 30-27!!! Bisping was robbed there and Sonnen is a grade A ars*hole as well
not a chance. Takedowns alone gave him the advantage early and the 3rd round was completely one way. Bisping was never in control - best he did was have him against the Octagon.
Be interesting to see Sonnen's price against Silva. Bossed him for most of the fight last time, just so good on the ground.

exactly, and if you were looking at the betting trends the fight was going Bispings way...it was close but 30-27 is a joke, Sonnen looked wrecked goin into the 3rd round so he did well to take him and hold him down
first 2 were close so wouldn't complain at 29-28 either way, get the feeling the judges were following the script with or without the big 3rd round from Sonnen though
i wanted bisping to win myself but on what the judges look for/usually score on you could tell there was only going to be one winner. Be very surprised if their is any controversy in the decision tbh - won the first and 3rd for mine.

davis got every chance here imo as long as he doesnt get sparked early. Expect his wrestling ability to give him a chance here.

Just finished watching the fights, bisping really impressed me, I thought he edged it, but I knew the judges would give it to Sonnen based on the takedown's in the first 2 rounds. I hate the way that takedown's get so much precedence in the scoring especially as bisping got up almost immediately from them. it was a close fight but you can't really call it a robbery.
Maia on the other-hand looked awful, probably the worst performance I've seen him give in the ufc. Weidman probably would of won that if he had a proper training camp, he only had 10 days notice I think it was.
Rashad won me a lot of money, the fight went pretty much like I expected but thought Rashad might of been able to finish it or dominate a bit more.

Bisping won that fight,won the first 2 rounds and lost the 3rd,simple as that. Had it been a 5 round fight like rashad and davis and he would have stopped chael imo,i hope they give bisping palharres next,shut some of the tools up. That fight confirmed bisping as the ufcs number 2 MW for me.
