Hi people. Dunno if there is already a thread on this. Couple of value bets to be had 2day with Betfred giving 1.5 sets of a start in handicap meaning the 2nd fav just needs to tie a set for winning bet. Boyd 3/1 in hcap v Royal and Smith 15/8 v Greenslade also in handicap. Betvictor also giving 40/1 on Wayne Hogg outright - he beat no.3 seed Merv King yesterday easy 2-0 and if he maintains his form will take a lot of beating, crazy price.

W Hogg 9/4 v S Anderson 1/3 10am 2moz. Hogg great value bet to win, also at 8/11 in hcap. Brilliant in first game knocking out seed 3 m king, if he keeps that form up he'll take a bit of beating not only tonmorrow but in rest of tourney.

i fancy stavrou to take the ladies final for these reasons
1=she is twice a world champion here. 2=she won the mixed pairs the other day so has had lots of time on the rink this year. 3=she was very impessive in beating merrion yesterday where as murphy struggled to beat a first timer here in a tie break. 4=she has played the best bowls all week drawing very consistently. 5=watch me do my conkers now  . |

Hogg played 40% as good as he played rd1 and still scraped through, plays Greenslade 2morrow now, no prices yet but will be odds against, he will destroy greenslade 2-0, GET ON! Burnett my pick from the other half, tough game 2nite, if he comes through that the current 10/1 will look huge, burnett hogg final and its happy days.
