good god i cant wait for this title fight, this is going to be one the biggest fights in mma history!! and it really could go either way,  Cain is about 1.64 at the moment, i think that's a little bit generous considering he hasn't fought in quite a long time, dos santos' boxing is probably the best in the division, but that's all he'll be able to do standing up for fear of velasquez's takedowns, junior's takedown defence looked pretty good against carwin, but cain's wrestling and pace are on a whole other level. it will be difficult to see how JDS will deal with that.

im leaning toward JDS at the moment, he's arguably fought the better competition on the road to his title shot, and has run through all of them. he will have a hight and small weight advantage and i think he will look to stay on the outside and use his boxing to try and take cain out of his gameplan.and i cant seem to get the images of kongo dropping cain like 3 times when they fought,  and junior is at least as good as kongo on the feet with a better overall ground game. but the kongo fight just goes to show how tough cain is and his ability to recover from shots like that is incredible, it's likely his freakish cardio is at least partly responsible for his recovery speed. however cain fought and beat kongo nearly 2 and a half years ago and has likely improved dramatically as he showed against big nog and lesner. JDS's ground game is still relatively unseen but training at the worlds best MMA gym in team blackhouse suggests his bjj at least is at a very high level.

this being a 5 rounder though makes me think cain has the advantage because of his stamina, and with flashbacks of nick diaz's ridiculous pace sapping the life out of B.J still fresh in my mind makes this one of the hardest fights to pick that i can remember.

and then we have Ben Henderson vs clay Guida for the number 1 contender spot for the lightweight title. what a great match this is for the fans, two of the most exciting fighters in all of mma and both have some of the best cardio in the sport should mean that this could be one of the most action packed fights in a long time. Bendo is at 1.44 at the moment while Guida is 3.2 ish. I would kind of agree with these odds, Guida's performance over Pettis wasn't the most convincing and since Henderson has come to the ufc he's looked on a different plateau to most other lightweight's out there, his size advantage could be crucial here and may well hold a striking advantage over Guida, at least in terms of diversity. this will be my biggest mma bet in a while and hopefully i can get on Ben at 1.47 ish.

what does everyone think of this card and whatcha betting on

in the u.k as far as i'm aware the title fight is on premier sports for free and all the others are on facebook as usual. also you can watch the main event on ufc.tv if you cant get premier sports, im not sure if you can watch any of the other fights on premier sports or ufc.tv though. also does anyone know what time approximately the bendo/guida and the title fight start? im probably not gonna be back before 3 a.m :(

bendo will beat guida with ease for me,johnson and escovedo will beat caceres and harvison at a canter, wen i watched harvison fight on tuf i said to myself i will oppose him no matter who he fights if he gets in the ufc,the guy is dross.

Im edging towards JDS too,i would have backed cain up until i saw JDS beat carwin, the guys boxing is outstanding, way way better than Kongo's!! JDS ground game is good but that wont matter if cain gets him down, cain is relentless on the ground and puts far too much pressure on for people to even think about a submission, that being said though,i think Cain will eat an uppercut if he shoots from to far out and after a few unsuccessful attemp's to get JDS down that's exactly what i think he will do. I wouldn't tell anyone to put too much cash on this though, both are outstanding at what they do and its really is so close as to who will impose there will! Not sure why the bookies have the odds so far apart really, its alot closer than the odds suggest i think.

I was pretty hot on Cain, but when I think about it, Lesnar's still very naive and it was all too easy for Cain to get to grips with him, so the form isn't up to much. Now he's had the shoulder injury and it's his first fight back against a brilliant striker like JDS.... If he isn't razor sharp, he'll be horizontal and blowing bubbles inside a round.

Basically, I'm deeper tha nballs deep on JDS.

@mehmet j mook - All said, it will be a case of whoever manages to fight their fight. JDS will try stay on his feet for all his life and Cain will try take downs galore. JDS knows this and I feel will avoid it at all costs. If JDS stays on his feet, he wins.

yeah that was pretty obvious though wasnt it armchairidiot?! Whoever fights there fight wins?!! What i was trying to do was break down who would be able to fight there fight.

Nice bit of cash for me too,jds and bendo at decent odds.

Stand by my opinion that harvison is dross, total absolute bin bag,i think id have a chance of beating him.

ELG- why are they f#gs for crying? You my friend are a top notch berk, really wouldnt surprise me if you do some kind of idiotic manual labour and drive around in a van beeping your horn at women and reading the daily sport.

well i missed out on a load of money there, my bets didn't get matched and by the time I got home the fights had already finished... they must of started pretty early to be finished by like 3 o'clock? I thought they would be on at the normal time of 4-5. would of been my biggest mma bets of the year too... Then i get ****ed over on the paquiao fight when i moved most of my green to marquez Plain. jds was very impressive considering we found out he was on crutches up until 11 days before the fight, and henderson guida went down pretty much like i thought, good fight though

yep JDS is a monster, might have quite a few champions that will defend there belts for a long time in GSP,Silva,Bones and JDS. I think Bendo will beat Edgar though, cant wait for that fight! Then we will get to see another Henderson Cerrone war!
