how did he win it? just by 'control' or 'aggression' as he was closing him down
matt clipped him there, looks a bit more aggressive now
matt looks more likely to get the big punch in but might come down to aggression
Kongo has the capabilty ,has more power , better technique than this guy . Just doesn't believe in himself
he's looking a bit tired, and matt looks relatively fresh
yeh same as before... its impossible not to give matt the 1st or 2nd round at least

nothing happened but matt was totally dominant in rounds 1 and 2 so how can 1 judge give all 3 rounds to kongo is the question tobe

Thought Kongo won that fair and square. Mitrione threw that away. needs to seriously grow up. Kongo too experienced. You don't seem him joking with his corner in between rounds.
yeh he won the fight fair, but were saying how can kongo win all 3 rounds when he clearly didnt!
I wouldn;t say he was 'totally dominant' as no one dominated because nothing really happned in rounds 1&2
On the 10 points must boxing format if you gave to give 10-9 rounds then i suppose you could give both to Mitrione . But IMO that is a dubious system anyway and Congo did far more in the 3rd than MM did in the whole fight.
As the system is though i can't see why anyone gave Congo Rounds 1&2 , both drawn tounds fairly

think penn will win, but this is one of the more intriguing fight's i've ever seen
i feel really strongly about diaz winning! think he will cause an upset here!
mma scoring is based on a boxing 10 point scoring system though tobermory, thats why i thought mitrione won
even i have heard of Penn and Diaz, interesting fight

yeah Razz, i take your point, but i think Boxing scoring is not something UFC should be copying . It is particulary stupid for 3 round fights .
Under Boxing scoring Mitrione probably should have won but Kongo won the fight as he had a dominant 4 minutes and the other 11 minutes Mitrione just shaded nothing much

roop in the first fight based on that should have won also
tobermory, ufc have absolutely no say over how the fights are judged and they openly critisize how it is
Penn is a master at all forms of fighting

dont think it matters who wins what rounds though as the judges dont obv use that system!
I saw Dana White criticise how they score UFC fights
If you just think of it as a 15 minute fight though, rather than individual rounds, then i think Kongo won fair and square, as he did have a dominant spell.

guys if you looked into this pre fight you would have seen what i saw too.. diazzzz was never gonna lose!
been reading a few other forums too, most are agreeing that roop got robbed in the first match!
that was a weird match up, diaz will get wrestle**** by a lot of people in the division whereas pen could fend a lot of wrestlers off
been a pleasure tonight razz, shame about roop but a good night!
been a good night, penn lost me a lot, overall im slightly down, but it could of been worse. good fights though
yeh matt lost me half my profit on the night and gutted about roop but diaz fight was amazing

cant see any listings on espn, guess its not getting repeated
kongo won me a bit but penn lost me alot,penn is a better fighter imo but his cardio is a real problem,never really considered it either,semtex caused diaz loads of problems and i expected penn to smash him.
