Not when they have Frank Schleck as the joker in the pack. I think he's moving great and whether he blows up or not he's showing what he's made of.

By:
with two leopard trek riders out in front of him this was planned.
By:
he had to do such an attack considering his GC position, it could work!
By:
certainly burning some matches early , however the yellow jersey group have let him get a big lead @ 2mins.

Cracking stuff!

Full marks to AS for the attack

3' ahead now

For me AS on the final climb will increase his lead over Evans and Voeckler - question is can Contador catch him.
By:
long straight with a headwind and he's having to do a lot of the work. He will be caught. Contador obviously did a deal with Sanchez then swapped his bike. Sanchez and Contador to attack on the Galibier.

By:
went down to 2'49, back up to 3'12
will they catch him ![]() and he looks fresh, go on schlecky boy |
By:
Peloton making no real headway on the flat bit - noone will pull back 2+ minutes on AS in the final climb. Schleck a lock for the stage win.

shleck is easy money to beat contador today!!!!!
By:
dont think contador will even attempt to drag schlek back in today just limit losses and attack tommorrow on Alpe Duez.

Maxime will not have much left to help him with though I reckon, he will hold the key for me with how long he can set the pace.

Frank Schleck odds on tomorrow?
By:
Big Big ride by Andy today..He had to do it, but to go 60km out was a big ride and it paid of for him today, need to see tomorrow how much it take out of him..but big ride
Evans, strong chase, Evans had to do all the work because Contado and Sanchez could not..I would be very happy if Evans had peg back another 20 sec on Andy lead today...Andy 57sec ahead on Evans, is the limit for the ITT that i think Evans is still fav... Contado gone, Sanchez gone...they couldn't keep up even with Evans doing all the work from 12km Frank Schleck, had to do nothing today, all the talk is it plays into his hands..But i don't rate Frank, if Frank goes out tomorrow with 60km away tomorrow (which i have the feeling there plan is to do) Evans should let him go... Voeckler...he still there, he still there in Yellow..Contado and Sanchez couldn't sick to Evans wheel today, but Tommy did...French man in Yellow come ITT and anything could happen |

By:
I think Franck will attack into the final climb tomorrow as the first k's into Alpe d'Huez are rather steep, Voeckler if he recovers well will lose some seconds again on his rival GC contenders, difficult to predict what Andy will be capable.
