It does not need me to illustrate the importance of this stage, so lets look at the mechanics of the stage.
Around 5km of vertical climbing, with the highest altitude summit finish in the history of the Tour - 2645m and this isn't even the highest peak on the route today.
No bet for me, just one to enjoy with a nice beer.
