Not sure, I look at the stage profile and wonder if Gilbert can distance Cav long before the finish? It certainly seems possible.

It smacks of a breakaway to me which if not successfull should be caught by a group that would contain the likes of Gilbert not Cav.

this is a tough one to call. have decided not to bother (except for an interest bet on gilbert for beer money)

Fancy someone from Astana to be in the breakway for this stage someone like Kreuziger 40min down on GC. Shame not many odds for any of the Astana boys for victory up in the betting for Stage 10.

If Cav has a chance of winning the green jersey I would say he has to be there with Gilbert at the finish today (unless a large break gets home). He may get gapped on those latter climbs but HTC may be able to get him back on

Should be a good finale - Cav/HTC chasing Gilbert/Rojas/Petacchi chasing the break

Green for Gilbert is all Lotto have to aim for now, makes it just that little bit tougher for Cavendish imo.

Had a speculative triple figure odds mug bet on Spartacus today....always like him in these types of long downhill finishes....but to be honest..I can't really see him being released from his Schleck-sitting job.
