2.4 seems a bit skinny as one crash could put him out of contention.

Better reason would be that the first week doesn't suit him that much - two finishes which he can't score any points on, another where he probably can't win, another which is going to be chaos and then throw in his habit of getting beat in the first bunch sprint. Lay and then re-assess this time next week
