I'm with you. Normally I'd be happy to oppose Cav 1st time out but not this time at odds against. With so few sprint stages he'll be peaking earlier here. Opposition not the strongest. Realistically this is too flat for Petacchi - his stages come later. Farrar probably best of the rest but not sure how sharp he is - recent crash won't have helped and not his strongest team here without Dean. The biggest question is can Cav stay upright - going to be a very nervy, technical run-in with at least one crash nailed on but I think HTC can get to the front and miss the worst of it

A-Jet was lucky with his 'movement' in the final straight... mind you... it's national bike day here in Italy so not a chance an Italian was going to be 'dq-d' if he crossed the stage.
