Its Brilliant stuff, and to be fair they have assembled pretty much the best field available,it looked for a while that the ufc would be untouchable but this tournament will really put strikeforce on the map.
The market would be interesting as you have to carry a fair amount of luck in an mma tourney to avoid injury or defeat (even the best in the sport lose a few times in their career).

Yeah it would be cool if betfair featured more mma it sometimes has Strikeforce events but not regularly and I don't think I have ever seen Dream fights available to bet on

As of Saturday 1 January 2011 Bravo is no longer available on any TV platform - including Sky and Virgin Media – but you can still watch your favourite Bravo shows on Sky.
Fans of Bravo's most popular programmes, including Spartacus: Blood and Sand and Leverage, will be able to continue to enjoy these shows on other Sky channels.
Other great programmes which will find a new home on Sky include Dog the Bounty Hunter, Star Trek, TNA Wrestling, Sun, Sea and A & E, Motorway Patrol, Highway Patrol and Caribbean Cops.
Hopefully strikeforce will find a home (fingers crossed its live)

I thought the Grand Prix was a great idea but have been somewhat confused why Dana White hasn't been more critical of it.
I think I now see why.
Strikeforce is slowly losing its heavyweight fighters. Arlovski: gone. Fedor: gone. The loser of Overeem (just a K1 fighter) or Werdum (only beat an overrated/shot Fedor) will be gone. And then there's the semis where you're just going to have more losers.
The winner of the GP will then probably join the UFC.

Fedor really needs to change is management. His fight tactics are total cr*p.
If he had just backed up vs Werdum and forced him to stand up he wouldve won easily. instead he plays right into his game. You cant do against that against a legit bjj champ like him.
same last night. surely his fight tactics wouldve included - Dont let him fkin mount you!!! but know he's happy to let it happy.
needs a better training camp.

@eastlower gooner agreed but size did play a factor. and yes he has fought guys as big, but not as skilled it seems. Silva used his size very effectively and managed to equal if not better his striking on the evening. i'd like to see him fight again, refreshed, and hopefully now with a little less media exposure. it may have all caught up with him, trying to live up to the hype, wanting to put on a great show and not pacing himself which he clearly should have in both his last.

Bigfoot was so big, Fedor couldnt use his Judo/Sambo throws to set up strikes as he has done before.
He played into Bigfoot's hands in a lot of ways. Was a bad match up for him.
