as it happens I have literally just e-mailed betfair to ask the same thing and whether they would stick markets up, beginning with tomorrows (Friday's)live match on sky sports 2 between Nottm & Belfast.  I will post the response, as soon as I receive it.

Who else would have a punt on uk ice hockey Elite League matches if betfair offered markets?   and who bets on it currently at the bookies?  I know of 5 bookies which have markets on the UK Elite League matches..

yes, it's a one off trial for this evenings match was the reply I got.  If there is enough liquidity then there will be markets for more matches in the future.  I'll stick up a game thread, although not a lot of people venture into the "other sports forum"

I e-msiled betfair again this morning, and there is now markets up for all the matches taking place in the next 7 days.

i was a Cardiff Devils supporter as my nephew was playing for them but he has left and is now playing for the "Bison".
