I can't believe I watched it for 2 hours. Well, half-watched it.
Result is a reduction in suspension from 12 months to 6 months, and so just 3 months remaining. Personally I'd like to see him fight Bisping in Australia, but I think that's unlikely.
The level of incompetence with regards to everyone involved was staggering. From one commissioner to thinking it was about boxing, to another having memory lapses/hearing problems because, as the lead woman muttered, he was getting tired.
Chael's doctor was dire, he reminded me of Dr Nick from the Simpsons.
The panel deciding what to do with him were clueless and so amateurish it was scary.
What little faith I had in the authorities having a grip on PED abuse has been distinguished.

One amendment, Chael will be back on Mar 2nd, so too late for Oz. Assuming the suspension is held worldwide (which it probably isn't but I'm sure the UFC wouldn't take advantage of that).

Link below gives a bit more explanation to the situation for Sonnen.
He is said to suffer from a condition called Hypergonadism. From what I understand it is a bit like a male menopause where you stop producing testosterone at sufficient levels which can lead to lots of problems like muscle loss and osteoporosis.

Wasn't it just 1 shot of testostorone the day before?
He's been taking 2 shots a week for quite some time (2 years?).
The problem was he didn't report it correctly, he told someone in Nevada once, he told the UFC doctor and he thought that's all he had to do. Or something along those lines.
