yes
Report Gomozkov July 19, 2010 5:27 PM BST
bet him ew next year they will bet the same as this year, its free money and he looks like he can win
Report geoff m July 19, 2010 6:56 PM BST
too busy fetching his own gels/doing track stands on the mountain & b0llxing putting his chain back on.
Report bb66 July 19, 2010 7:27 PM BST
he would still be in yellow if he had not had tactical games yesterday
Report Gomozkov July 19, 2010 8:25 PM BST
if schleck rides away from Alberto on Thursday and loses the tour on the silly time trial he will be the moral winner of the tour

Leaving Riis and Saxo bank is a major negative with regards to backing schleck next year.

Hamilton left CSC & Riis, went down hill
Basso left CSC & Riis, went downhill
Sastre left CSC & Riis, went downhill

are we seeing a rhythm here [;)]
Report Bellamy Road July 19, 2010 10:12 PM BST
are you suggesting  they all stopped doping when they left riis?
Report Wessex July 19, 2010 11:18 PM BST
Gomozkov - if you think you will get an EW price about Schleck next year, dream on.  If they were betting now it would be 6/4 each of two and little is likely to happen between now and Paris to change that.
Report geoff m July 24, 2010 5:45 PM BST
think he may be fav next year after that time trial Wessex
Report Hannanah July 24, 2010 6:04 PM BST
Next season: Kim Andersen leaves Riis and Riis ges downhill ;-)
Report bb66 July 24, 2010 7:11 PM BST
does this mean Andersen has more knowledge in doping than Rijs?
Report Hannanah July 24, 2010 7:18 PM BST
Nobody knows more in that field than Mr. 60% ;-)

Andersen is the tactical brain of the operation. And likely to steal half the riders to his new team.

I'm happy to take the chance that Andy Schleck will take a slight backward step next season leaving Riis.

F**king around on Ax 3 Domaine instead of having a go at Contador cost Schleck this tour imho
Report peter64 July 25, 2010 9:37 AM BST
schleck couldn't drop him on the tourmalet i think contador may have been able to if he had to but he didnt need to and gave schleck the stage as way of an apology
Report Neely July 25, 2010 9:54 AM BST
I agree that Schleck couldn't drop him on the Tourmalet, but I don't think that Contador could either. I think he could have won the sprint at the end yes, and he gave him that, but I don't think he could have pulled away from Schleck to any degree. They have both been so close this year, very evenly matched - it is just that Contrador took avantage when the opportunity arose.
Report peter64 July 25, 2010 9:58 AM BST
yes like saxobank on the cobbles i don't think contador was in great form this year and fully expect him to win again next year
Report geoff m July 25, 2010 10:24 AM BST
Clearly has the ability to win but tactically hes a long way to go.
Needs to learn how to put a chain on quicker & get a domestique to fetch his gels.
Report shazaza July 25, 2010 12:30 PM BST
Can i take it that contrador has won the tour de france as you can only lay him, schleck is trading @240 is there a chance for him?
As you can tell i have'nt followed the race this year.
