http://intheclynch.blogspot.com/2010/04/early-estimates-for-ufc-111-very-strong.html

Reports for the Pacquaio fight suggest around 700,000 whilst early reports for UFC 111 are around 800,000.

Another sign that UFC is overtaking boxing in the popularity stakes. When will boxing (and many of its hardcore fans) take their head out of the sand and realise that it needs to modernise.

I think the Primetime show the UFC / Spike did added a lot of extra intrigue and interest to the card.

I dont think they should do it for every card but certainly for the more interesting fights....Lesnar vs Carwin would be excellent Primetime show.

What boxing needs is one central governing body - that would revolutionise the sport

Yep, boxing needs what the UFC did for MMA.
