William Hill is the only bookmaker out with prices for Friday's Womens SUPER G
Fischbacher 25/1 to win 6/1 Top 3 Maze 18/1 to win 9/2 Top 3
These were the girls First and Second in the Vancouver Games in the Super G. Maze showed form today when she won the Giant Slalom and is in form. She was 28/1 so this is not as lucrative as it was, still it is good.
The real value lays with Fischbacher. She was 5th today in the Giant Slalom and looked superb. She is by far a lot better in the Super G, and apart from winning an Olympic Gold Medal, she is 2nd to Vonn in the Super G Cup.
Vonn crashed out today in the Giant Slalom, and is currently at hospital. She is doubtful for tomorrow. Even if she skies, the reported problem with the knee wont make her a given winner. Far from that.
I can guarantee you that 26/1 on Fischbacher wont be found anywhere when it is race time tomorrow. Go get it now!
Just a few more notes, for anyone not into wintersport.
Fischbacher was around 17/1-20/1 when she won Olympic Gold. Now most likely Vonn wont be able to either compete or give herself a 100% run (and then she wont win, simple as that).
If Vonn wont run, I would say the price on Fischbacher should be 6/1-7/1, not a cent more.
Good Luck if you are fast enough to catch the price.
