Yeah Bret is back on a short term deal, it'll be interesting to see how that match pans out because Bret is in no shape to wrestle, he's an overweight, 52 year old stroke victim ffs! It's a No Holds Barred match rather than a normal one so they'll use plenty of foreign objects. There won't be any "wrestling" but it could still be an entertaining match, a bit like Hogan vs Vince a few years back. It's pretty obvious that Bret will win, the buildup to the match has really focused on the Screwjob and I'm guessing it'll end with Bret making Vince to the Sharpshooter, finally "getting revenge"
The HBK vs Taker match is a Streak vs Career match, if HBK wins, Undertaker's 17-0 streak will end but if Taker wins, Shawn will have to retire. Usually retirement's don't mean a lot in wrestling but I'm pretty certain we won't be seeing HBK appearing on Raw on a regular basis ever again, he's 44 now and wants more time with his family. He may be getting on, but he is still probably the best wrestler in the WWE. He has won Match of the Year for an unprecedented 6 times in a row (10 times overall) and is still the Showstopper. Last year he put on one of the greatest WM matches of all time with Taker and although it will be almost impossible to better that match, with Shawn Michaels it's always possible One match I forgot was CM Punk vs Rey Mysterio, I don't think it has been officially confirmed yet but it's basically a done deal. They're two very good performers and their match will be one of the better ones |
