Lads - just been on the phone to Betfair requesting our own forum.
They've said that they recognise we dominate this Other Sports forum and the growth of the sport - hence I ttt'd a few threads - but can only add an MMA forum when they get a few more requests. Apparently I'm only the third or fourth to ask for it, and they'd need a few more requests and they'll happily give us it.
So any chance of a few of you boy's phoning Betfair's Helpdesk on 0844 871 0000 and asking for it? Another few requests should do the job.

Yep, a good idea. Have just sent them an email requesting it.
I've absolutely no interest in this sport, but this thread is my highlight of the week from the Betfair comedy zone. I can't believe with a sport this size - it must be bigger than any other sport with it's rate of growth by now surely, that Betfair never felt the need to decline on grounds fearing site overload if they grant a separate MMA section?! ;)
Couldn't reply earlier but i gave them a call and was passed on to about 4 different people, i was then told they were looking into it.....
Hopefully they take note, do it Betfair, do it.

Jose, this sport is taking over the world mate, so brace yourself. There are far more MMA forums out there than most other sports, but due to its nature and how new it is, betting on it hasnt taken off, especially in the UK. It will do though.
