Very short today.
Not many bookies out with prices, but I would look for the following names and each way bets where stated (or to perhaps/likely get a higher price at Betfair, though I doubt the volumes are gonna be there):
Maria Riesch - 2/1 with William Hill. Can challenge Vonn for the overall title wih a good finish to the season. Won the Olympic Gold in this event and the Gold in Slalom. Pretty mediocre in training runs here but I would not read too much into that, she rarely figures in the top anyway, always better in competition. The one to beat, surely, Vonn just cant ski slalom good enough at the moment.
Anja Paerson Each Way (11/2 William Hill to win) - Took bronze in Vancouver. Will be in a good position after the downhill and is the number one contented imo to challenge Riesch.
Goergl 13/2 William Hill (Each Way) - Fast in training, almost always is. Can be good enough in slalom on her day, watch out.
Schnarf Top 3 - 7/1 William Hill
Perhaps can get an even bigger price with some other bookmaker later, but I doubt it. The Italian is up in form, good in training here and though never better than 6th in the World Cup in the discipline, will most likely be right up there to possibly claim a podium finish this time.
