What's everyone's opinion of this? This seems a bit mickeymouse to me. Pudzianowski is a monster, the only person to win the World Strongest Man 5 times. Najman is a boxer who's done nothing except having a shot at the Polish boxing heavyweight title and losing. What are they doing in an MMA ring?! Surely this can only go one way, there won't be a repeat of the Lesnar v Mir fight 1, as Mir has quality Jiu Jitsu skills. Neither of these guys have any MMA skills to speak of, so should be an outright brawl.

I was under the impression that Mariusz has some skill in karate? I hope he wins, he's huge in Poland. In fact, he's huge everywhere.

Yeah think he's dabbled in karate, boxing and even amateur rugby apparently. This is quite a big event in Poland but as he's recently been in their version of Dancing with the stars and Marcin Najman in their Big Brother, was curious about the credibility of this fight, not really anybody offering it.

One big man, one ridiculously huge man and not quite rolling around the floor. Pudzian kicked him around the ring like a big football, then proceeded to beat his head when he was on the floor. What made me laugh was the ref trying to stop the fight via an armbar!
Pudzian looked like he enjoyed that; wonder if we'll see more of him...? |
