HUGE BREAKING UFC NEWS: Exclusive info on major fight off, megastar career in jeopardy, huge meeting
Brock Lesnar is in extremely bad shape and there are questions as to whether he will ever fight again.
Lesnar, 32, is in far worse shape than he has been letting on. He went to Canada last week to try to get some rest, collapsed, and was rushed to the hospital. He has mono and also something else that he doesn't want to get out, and all we now is that he does not have cancer and he does not have AIDS. It is, however, extremely serious and he will not be fighting again for a long, long time, if he is able to fight again.
Dana White is heading to Minnesota tonight and will be working to get Lesnar to the Mayo Clinic or equivalent medical facility for treatment.
Also, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira has a staph infection and his fight with Cain Velasquez at UFC 108 is off. Nogueira will need an IV to hopefully get the infection out. He is also in bad shape.
With Lesnar out indefinitely, Shane Carwin will be undergoing knee surgery, so he will not be available to face Velasquez at UFC 108.
We can also report that Shane McMahon had a meeting at the UFC offices recently. Dana White, when asked for more information, responded, "No comment."

Awful news about Brock, really hope he pulls through.

Sounds like a windup to me.

Though it is indeed very possible that Lesnar may never fight again ...

Sorry, source is http://www.f4wonline.com primarily a wrestling website but Dave Meltzer is one of the top MMA journalists and is always a great source, it's not a wind up mate.

Apparently Nog's status has been confirmed.

I dunno, something just sounds fishy about the way it's written ... but it is entirely plausible that Lesnar is seriously ill. Secondary infections - serious ones - when one has mononucleosis are common.

The UFC are in a real pickle ...

Yep, looks like they're gonna have to crown a new heavyweight champion, Velasquez vs who though? Winner of Mir vs Kongo? How crap is that!

I think it'll be winner of JDS / Gonzaga to fight Velazquez for a shot at interim title against Carwin. Or perhaps Mir will fight Velazquez and fight the winner of JDS / Gonzaga for the interim title against Carwin.

Yes, Dana White was saying Brock is very, very ill. Brock doesn't want it to become a big fuss but sounds very serious.

Dana wouldn't expand on it as he said Brock didn't want him to. This is what he said:

"He's got mono and he's got something else wrong with him. I know what's wrong with him, he just doesn't want me talking about it," White said. "He doesn't have cancer or AIDS or anything like this, (but) he's got some problems, man."

My guess would be a problem caused by using dangerous substances in his WWE days. Happens to a lot of these ex-WWE wrestlers.

Looks like there will be an interim heavyweight title fight but not sure who between yet.

so basically...

the heavyweight division has been decimated....Lesnar out, Carwin out, Nog out, Todd Duffee out....

Jesus..... at this rate Paul Buentello might end up being the Interim champ ;-)

Looks open for Frank Mir. Nog and Carwin aren't out for too long anyway. Maybe Bobby Lashley comes in whilst Brock is out. Whatever happens, I just hope Brock's ok. He has the potential to be the biggest star MMA has ever seen.

WWE may not be everyone's cup of tea...

But I like to remember just how awesome Lesnar was from time to time.

His WWE debut:
