Hi,

Eairler this week, I think it was Monday or Tuesday, Betfair had the over and under goal market for the German teams at 6.5 while the rest of the leagues where 5.5. Was this a mistake or does Betfair do this from time to time? i.e 6.5 goals.

If it was on purpose, is there a patten i.e is it always the German leagues?

Thanks

It pretty much depends which line is the closest. So in those german league games more goals were expected.
5.5 is usually standard as in many leagues it is the closest line, like 2.5 in football.
There are often also 4.5 goals in hockey, in games where lower amount of goals are expected, for example play-offs.

I had a bet on most of the German games last week mate and all of them were under/over 5.5goals. I think you are thinking of Norweigan ice hockey.
