Would love to see Amir smash Baroni!

A sign of the growing popularity of the UFC is that you'll get a lot of casual fans now and they tend to be the ones who moan about everything.
The card is a very good one, full of 50-50 fights. Returning stars, up and comers, exciting fighters, a TUF winner and a top fighter making their UFC debut. Also Forrest's first fight after the Anderson Silva fight. I'd say this is one of the most intriguing cards yet. |

TIIIIITTTTTTOOOOOOO!!!!! 11/8 at paddys looks nice!!!
By:
Love the main card.
great to see Tito back...hope the fight is as good as the last. Kos vs Rumble is a war! wow. amir is a good egg....love his intro music.....destiny by vanessa mae. So unlucky last time. never seen Little Nog fight so cant wait. and the Judo king Karo is back!!!! he got some moves. remember when he fought Straser at UFC 44 and was just flipping and rolling him about for fun...ended up throwing him over his shoulder straight into a Kimura to finish the fight. |
By:
Tito has no chance imo.
The sport has evolved since his days as has his opponent. |
By:
Goodness knows where Griffin is after the Silva fight though.
By:
Tito made a good of it against machida, refocused and now apparently injury free. I think he's a good bet
By:
man i went nuts when he slapped that triangle on Machida in the last minute.
By:
news online is sayin brock lesnar may never fight again. has some serious internal illness aND its touch and go whether he fights again.
1.1 he is wwe champ before the end of 2010 then ;) |
By:
of course Tito has a chance! I wont be backing him but i dont think ill be backing Forrest either. Kos is the man for me!
By:
tito is my only bet on that card
forest is overated totally which is handy when punting |
By:
ive never really rated griff too much but you cant argue with wins over shogun and rampage,he must be a good fighter to get the W over both of them no matter what form or condition Shogun was in,if i had to bet on the fight id prob go for forrest to outwork Tito and keep him at bay with leg kicks the same way he did to Rampage,so id go for forrest on points.
By:
yeah ok good points but the sun shines on a dogs ass you know

looking a tough card for value...
fancy Marcus Davis at 1/2. gave everything in that Dan Hardy fight and we've seen how good that form is. Apparently he's gone back to the drawing board and trained even harder for this fight so expecting him to get back on track. I'm leaning towards Rumble Johnsen...i just think he's too big and too powerful for Kos. Thiago Silva exposed his chin when he KO'd him in London and that Johnsen chap has KO power in his hands and legs. the Davis-Rumble double @ just over 6/4 for me. |
By:
ps...booooo Karo. poor show pulling out like that....not fair on his opponent or the ufc.

Racing Post selections..
MMA - Dan Williams T Ortiz, 2pts 5-4 Bet365, Paddy Power, Stan James J Koscheck, 1pt Evs Boylesports, Paddy Power, Stan Jam |
By:
im going for Kos aswell, think rumble is a decnt fighter but hasnt really fought anyone great, convincing wins over tommy farmboy speer and the japanese guy but struggled against Burns who isnt great. Just hope he doesnt unleash early and ko kos otherwise im confident kos will take care of business.
By:
also Kendall to tap Rusholt from his back :)
By:
remember this starts at 2AM as the Marcus Davis and Kendall Grove matches will be on live.
By:

The Stan James times looks wrong to me. WIth the Hazelett fight being cancelled, Thiago's fight has been moved to the main card. All is clear on Wikipedia. |
By:
ok cheers temple
By:
baroni fight definitely aint on live then??

always cracks me up...

Just a little tip. Money been going on Camoes in the US. I've had my bit with**s (when at 3.25) but can still get 2.88 with BetFr£d. Left a little note on another thread here.
By:
temple when this uno fight off?..stans had it at 1235 but it says its on the main card here?
By:
can you do multiples on here?
By:
The Uno fight has just finished. Was a draw as Camoes had a point deducted in the second round for illegal upkicks (I'm assuming he's been fighting under slightly different rules before coming to the UFC). So frustrating as the market is still open here!
By:
im totally confused by the planning with this tonight
By:
and here we go!
By:
There are two prelim fights being shown now. Then, at 3am, we have the 5 main fights. Because Parisyan pulled out we have one of the fights that was on the undercard (Thiago v Volkmann) move up to the main card.
That drawn fight has annoyed me. Missed out on a tidy sum because of it. Assuming Boyles refund the bet, if they don't then I lose a tidy sum. |
By:
whys the davis fight suspended?
By:
and thew grove fight is??? ffs
By:
mma betting relatively new so interesting to hear what Boiles do imo....
Carl Uno is a really really really nice guy. just walks about bowing and calling everyone sir :D |
By:
think they'll unsuspend them soon...usually takes a couple of minutes.
By:
Da Spyder vs Rosholt first up
By:
Grove has the best diet imo.....eats spam, eggs and french toast for breakie everyday :D
By:
idiots because its undercard they have suspended by the looks of it
