Im going to Roger Gracie's academy in London, would recommend it to anyone who lives in the city. You get the option of doing multiple classes in Muay Thai, BJJ, Judo as well as striking. All for £8 an hour. They have top instructors and allow for all levels of ability, Gracie himself is the head instructor and is also a 6 time world champion. Learning from the best if it's local enough for anyone.
Btw ELG unlucky on the tap, you sound like you're a decent level so carry on. Kudos. |

sounds good funky but i live in the lake district and its total dross up here and doesnt have anything like that! It does have a crappy little gym where all the berks and jerks go and work on the bicep muscles constantly, mainly the rugby lot!

the worst BJJ class in london is Carlson Gracie team london.
please stay away from jokers. for starters they are based in what looked to me like the upstairs of house which they affectionately call The Boiler Room. secondly they have NO SHOWERS. how dire is that...anyone who has done a proper MMA or BJJ class and do all the cardio that goes with it knows how important a shower is after especially if you working.....nope none here. the head guy told me they dont do them anymore because they dont want 40 guys fighting over them afterwards wtF????? thirdly...they are based in hammersmith...but not central hammersmith by the station...like 2miles away way past hammersmith bridge...a long arse walk or run if you cant get a bus. JOKERS imo. |
