Agree about the Packers. Think they will have a good season.

Lions hardly play outside all season so, as a dome team they should seed highly in the NFC  I think it maybe 3 outside games?

My back to cash out angle every year are the Browns as I use all my free bets on them but, that is more out of blind faith.

The interesting price to cash out later in the season for me are the Chargers and the Cards.  Chargers now have coaches and the Cards are a team that could be explosive.

The Ravens look the bet at the moment but I don't know if there is another sport that it's so easy to be sucked in by. This time last season the Ravens looked like the best team too but fizzled out.

At those prices the Bengals look interesting, a rough start but are getting it together now they are getting healthy, Burrow, Chase and Higgins are capable of blowing out anyone if they can stay on the field together and should have beat the Ravens if they didn't try three runs after the fumble during O/T after Burrow had been passing at will all game.

Its an obvious one but the stats for Mahomes and Kelce this season are so poor, they have won games by luck and one play results, YET they are unbeaten.  They know how to win and in recent years are undeniably the best playoff team.  There is a very real chance they go unbeaten through the season.  Still a huge price at 5.1

Thing is with KC, they know how to win. It’s a great habit to have, and Mahomes is a brilliant talisman to have

Ok Mac, Chiefs 9-0, winning games through shear doggedness and that winning know how. Tonight could be the night for their 1st loss imo. Should be a good game. Josh Allen to swing it for Bills. Won’t be surprised if Chiefs tough another out though

Imagine someone 'backing to lay' the Chiefs at the start.

Won last 2 super bowls, start off 6.2, go 11-1 and the lay price is 6.8

Cheers T. I always look forward to viewing your book about this time of the year and watch how you mange to green up entirely (or almost) on the approach of the SB. Eagles and Ravens look dangerous and your main bogies.

... I know, I must live a boring life lol.
By:

When: 07 Dec 24 22:19
.... not to mention the Redskins, who are capable of beating anyone in a one off match but whether they can win 4+ on the trot in the play-offs (assuming they get in) to win SB is a big big question mark against them. Good luck!

You make a decent point.

Now 14-1 and the lay price is 6. They do finish the regular season with a couple of tough road games but one win would guarantee the #1 seed.

Totally outclassed the Steelers, even without  Chris Jones.

The 6+ odds we won't see again Sad , should have gone in a lot more on that.

Think too much was made of the 'one score wins', a lot of them were fairly comfortable.

eg v Texans was a 'one score win' but at the end they had the option of an easy TD or an easy FG to make it two scores, or just take a knee and and end the game 7pts up.

Sorry, should have read your post more carefully and not assumed you were talking about the xmas day games. Yes, not sure what is going on with Sky Sports and NFL. It seems both of these Sat night games have been scheduled at some point during the week and then pulled from the schedule.

Some discussion of it here.

I was puzzled that the Rams/Cardinals game wasn't on but didn't give it much thought as I wasn't too interested, but really disappointing that Steelers v Bengals not on Sad

Don't understand what's going on with these games as a broadcast deal is decided before the season starts... you pay x amount and you get these games, so it's not week to week decisions.

Sky must have had the rights to the game but decided not to show it Plain

Very annoying as the Ravens/Browns game looks bad. Bailey Zappe starting QB for Browns

All the Bengals games I've seen have been great and most of the Steelers ones too.

And it is meaningful as Bengals must win to have a shot at play offs. Probably won't get in as either Miami or Denver likely win later, but they won't know that til next day.

Reading that link you posted I think it's more likely that 1 game on the Saturday was scheduled and Sky had the rights to that all along.

Then they moved another game forward from Sunday but that was not part of the contract rights.

A bit like when a premier league game involving a big club gets postponed and then rescheduled for April at a time when no one else is playing and people ask how is it not on TV?

Because if it was originally scheduled for 3pm Saturday it can never be a live game in a later slot.
