That time of the season once again. A feast of Turkey, trimmings and three NFL matches. Lions and Cowboys traditional hosts play Packers and Washington respectively and 49ers travel to Seattle for the late West coast clash.
Lions were lucky at the weekend clutching victory from the jaws of defeat against the Bears with a last minute win and will have to play better this week. Handicap is generally -7.5 (a Bogey number) which personally I couldn`t have. Will be surprised if they don`t win though against a bang average Packers team. 1/3 Detroit on the Moneyline.
Cowboys are on fire and looking like a true contender this season for the Super Bowl and should beat divisional rivals the Commanders at Home. Handicap at -11.5 in general again looks a bit high but I wouldn`t put anybody off betting it but definitely not for me. Be shocked if they don`t win though but skimpy odds at 1/4 on the Moneyline.
In the late game, San Francisco travel to west coast rivals Seattle. 49ers are strong in all aspects of the game and McCafferty has proved one of the shrewdest trades in the history of the game. The guy is a machine. And the supporting cast is brilliant too both in offence and defense. Arguably the best all round team in the NFL. Seahawks are competitive and will put up a fight but in the end 49ers should prove way too strong for them. -6.5 on the Handicap looks a great bet. Should be double digits in my humble opinion. 1/3 on the Moneyline.
My bets are:
Detroit, Cowboys and 49ers to win straight up at odds of 2.24 (5/4) the Treble.
Detroit (Moneyline), Cowboys (Moneyline) and San Francisco (Handicap -6.5) at odds of 3.18 (2/1) the Treble.
Will have a look later at the specials for a bigger price bet and post later if I see anything. Watch this space.

Can`t see any real value prices standing out on other markets. Odds skimpy all round.
..... Josh Reynolds (Detroit) to score a TD anytime @ 5/1 with PP and BF are the best price. As short as 2/1 with a couple of bookies and generally 3/1 with most so 5/1 is a good price if you can get on. You can get 6.2 on BF for £1  |

Fortunately with RedZone available I don't have to suffer the current Sky presenting team very often but I expect the mute button is going to take a hammering this evening. Instead of Kev (rip) and orange Jeff with his dilated pupils which was at least quite entertaining we now get usually get lumbered with the excitable and intensely annoying bloke who is on every channel and the woman who used to put out the cones for an NFL team once upon a time.
I can't see Green Bay doing much in Detroit but I think Dallas are still capable of cr@pping the bed in a primetime game so will have a small bet on Washington |

Dolphins @ Jets Miami -9.5 looks a bet. No one cany deny that NY defence is very good but Dolphins score for fun and Jets struggle badly on offence. |

Would be a total shock if Cowboys didn`t win but I couldn`t have them -14 on main handicap which they are now.
I hope you got the +14 GB and didn`t take the +11.5 which they were earlier. I wish you well with that bet mate as it doesn`t effect any of my bets above, lol. |
