So...
This is a slight curveball, and obviously not the highest quality event (for the second week in a row), but - cutting to the chase - I think Miami are terrible and Jacksonville are slightly but tangibly less bad.
Miami probably have Tua back as QB, but their problems at the moment are far deeper than just that (and Jacoby hasn't been doing a bad job all things considered).
Yes they narrowly won a game - somehow, against all the game stats - in Week 1, but they have that great combination of weak defense (3rd most points shipped) and feeble offense (2nd least points scored), and appear to be getting worse.
Jacksonville are 0-5, with a dodgy coach, but have actually been almost competitive in several games over an opening schedule that is broadly comparable to Miami's. Crucially, they look to be getting a bit more organised and functional.
A lot of opinion seems to be that the Dolphins looked better at times against the Buccaneers, but the total yardage story is a shocker (Tampa 558, Miami 301), while for the first time this year, Jacksonville had a positive yardage comparison (+86) in their defeat by Tennessee.
At 8/5 (money line), I think Jacksonville rate a bet here. It's definitely not a cast-iron certainty, but it feels like the odds are out of line by some way.
For the record, the under-probation predictor thingy has this game as:
Miami Dolphins 21-26 Jacksonville Jaguars
And yes, I probably need my head examined for even looking at this game, I know, I know...

Yeah, I expect Jaguars to win this one.
Miami seem completely dysfunctional, reportedly still trying to trade away a haul of round 1 & 2 picks for Deshaun Watson, who is probably only unsuspended until a team try to play him.

That was some call with the quick throw! But yeah, going for it at 17-13 rather than taking the field goal was nuts. I was quite shouty at that point!!!

Ah yes, thinking about it now it was TRF. That's going back a good few years now isn't it. I'm in grand form thanks, all good and musn't grumble about anything really.

Thanks Shelli, and yes agreed - there have been a load of close call games (maybe not today, but 2 still went to overtime). There seems to be a slightly more chaotic and gung-ho attitude from coaches this year (possibly post-Trump and kind of post-Covid) which is a lot of fun! I've never seen so many teams going for it on 4th down plays!
