Seahawks sent out promotional stuff to previous season ticket holders.
Mentions several star players like DK Metcalf. No picture of Russell. No mention of him at all.

I read this and it does have the hallmark of Wentz to Colts but, I just don't know on this one.
What are the Hawks like with cap space? |

Lots of Bears talk as a landing spot. Meanwhile, the Chiefs have cut their two starting tackles who missed the Super Bowl. We all saw what happened without them, mug money wanting to back at 6.6, lay away folks.

Clearly Wilson is not happy with the Seahawks but probably nothing that couldn't be smoothed over. The more interesting part is that the Seahawks seem to be encouraging trade talks. Carroll and Schneider recently signed new contracts. Are they looking at the difficulties of contending while paying a QB top money when there are so many good (and very cheap) QBs coming out of college now? However, any trade is going to be very expensive for them - 39m in dead money. So another team is not only going to have to come up with a package good enough to secure a top QB but also to compensate for the dead money issue.
Wilson is in catch-22. Where does he have a better chance to win in the next few years? Seattle, or another team that will be greatly weakened by having to give up huge draft and/or player capital in a trade? |
