Detroit agreeing to trade him.

I hope Washington FT, think they could go all the way with him.

Suspect the Patriots will get him somehow though.

Probably a dozen or so interested or with a need.

How many have the clout, the money or the draft capital.

It's the Rams. Won't officially happen till March but seems to be a done deal that

Rams get Stafford plus
3rd rnd in 2021
1st rnd in 2022
1st rnd in 2023

Lions get Goff plus
that horrible contract

So a salary dump deal where (probably) at least one of those 1st rnd picks is payment for taking on Goff Grin

Sorry of course it's the Lions who get the picks so let's try that again

Rams get Stafford

Lions get Goff plus
3rd rnd in 2021
1st rnd in 2022
1st rnd in 2023
that horrible contract

If that's correct it's a ridiculous decision by the RAMS.

Ridiculous. Watson like deal ffs...

Chasing the Superbowl doesnt work.theyve already proved that by trading first rounders.

Bonkers decision imo.

I'd say the Rams have got off quite lightly. Like you say their "win now, stuff the future" mentality looks doomed to fail and they all-in with that - no way they can reverse it now. In this case I don't see there was any other way out of the Goff mess because turning him into a top player doesn't seem to be an option

The Lions get extra draft capital for taking on the Goff mess but 2023 ? That's a long time to wait and, unless Stafford gets injured, it's not going to early first round picks. It seems like the took the first deal on the table without letting an auction develop. Think I would have preferred to have no part of Goff and just take a first round pick this year

The Rams traded up to get Goff.....

Now theyve popped another 2 1st rounders to get rid.

Madness, I dont think theyve had a pick in 1st round since Goff and wont until 2024.?

Clear upgrade but huge price to pay.

Goff may improve for change, doubt it but hes likely better than a middling rookie to manage an offense and build slowly.

They were talking 3 1s for Watson.

What's his price nowExcitedHappyGrin

Agree Jedi, seems a bit dubious to say the least by the Rams.

Stafford tends to miss a few games a year with injuries, so that alone could ruin the 'win now' bid. There is also a debate that his impressive numbers are built in garbage time and that he ain't all that good when the game is on the line, someone called him 'Stat Padford' the other day Crazy

I suppose the Lions see Goff as a 'bridge' QB until their extra picks bear fruit. Can't see the Packers worrying too much about him.
