are teams free to pull out of any free agent signing they made up until a contract is signed which is dependent on medicals to be undertaken after the coronavirus shutdown?if so things could get messy after the draft if a team decides they dont really need a certain free agent signing anymore.
what happens if team A trade a player to team B for draft picks, team A use them draft picks and then when the player eventually goes for his medical their is a problem
I think, for the bigger deals at least, medicals must still be going on. For example Michael Brockers agreed terms with the Ravens in free agency (Mar 16) then failed the medical a few days later so didn't end up signing. Subsequently he has agreed terms to extend with the Rams (27 Mar) and passed a medical with them (Apr 3)
