Agree. They just about get away with it 14/32 at least its not like the NBA 16 out of 30 teams which is farcical imo - completely dilutes the regular season (not to mention Euro Soccer qualifying - hard not to qualify making the qualification groups boring).
It was perfect the way it was. Mooting 17 game season for 2022 which is messing with the perfect symmetry of the current structure.
