Starting this thread now.
I have thought for some time now that the Browns are a top team in the making. Unfortunately from a price perspective for next year they far exceeded expectations this year with a young team, rookie QB and all the nonsense going on with the coaching staff.
I can definitely see them winning the AFC North (not easy to say as I am a lifelong Steeler fan) and making a good run in the play offs.
The Super Bowl dreams might be a year too soon due to the inexperience of the QB but having said that he hasn't looked a "normal" rookie this year.
Take some of the 33s dont think that will be around for long

The Browns have a brutal run of 6 games against winning teams if they can come out of those games 3-3 (they are currently 1-1) I think they will qualify for the play offs. |

Sherman then offered advice to Mayfield, who is taking his lumps this season after an impressive rookie campaign that saw him set the NFL record for touchdown passes by a rookie quarterback. "Respect the game," Sherman said. "You can have rivals, but pay your respect in that moment -- especially when you're young. "He hasn't earned anything in this league. How many games has he won? He's acting like he was the MVP last year. If [Patrick] Mahomes did that, it would be one thing. But he would never do that, because he has too much respect for the game. And when you see a guy who doesn't? You humble him every chance you get. Because eventually, he will have respect for the league -- or he'll be out of it." |
