Tomlin is rapidly becoming the NFL's Arsene Wenger
Couldnt agree more. He's been on borrowed time for too long.
Now that Bell has departed for pastures new and Big Ben's surely on the downgrade at his age, the Steelers with the talent they had on both sides of the ball during Tomlins reign should surely have had more than then the 1 SB in Tomlin's now 11th season as Head Coach.
Losing Shazier was a huge blow at the time and can set a team back years to replace someone of his ability and stature but everything about Tomlin just seems flaky. The Steelers are always likely to throw in some stinkers under his leadership, it just so happens that they've done it in in their last 3 games.
Games, and situations within those games, that teams who want to win Superbowls just have to get on the right side of.
Ive seen Cousins in the meaningful games go missing too often. The metrics and home results dont particularly favour the home team but their home games have been against elite / above average teams in the Rams, Chargers, Cowboys and to a lesser extent, the Packers and held their own in spells in each of the games.
The market's saying that if this was on a neutral field it'd be a pick em game. I cant have that at this stage of the season and how both teams are currently shaping up. The Vikings run offence problems are well documented and if they cant run it, then surely the Seahawks will look to take away the threat of Thielen snd Diggs like the Pats did last week.
Enjoy the game.
good luck all who plays.should be a good one
imo Tomlin has massive game management issues
Take Sunday as an example apparently Tomlin "didn't know" he still had 2 time outs left on Sunday.
That's why they only had around 20 seconds left when they got the ball back.
