Schedule courtesy of CBS:
Saturday, January 16

Chiefs at Patriots (-5), 4:35 p.m. ET (CBS) -- The Chiefs throttled the Texans 30-0 during the wild-card round and now get one of the hardest draws you can land in football, facing the Patriots off a bye in Gillette.

Packers at Cardinals (-6.5), 8:15 p.m. ET (NBC) -- When the Seahawks won they secured a spot in Carolina due to their status as the lower seed. Green Bay gets to run back the Week 16 bloodbath in Arizona where Aaron Rodgers was sacked eight times.

Sunday January 17

Seahawks at Panthers (-2.5), 1:05 p.m. ET (FOX) -- The Seahawks knocked the Panthers out of the playoffs last year and now Carolina gets a shot at revenge with Seattle playing at 10 a.m. PT for the second-straight week.

Steelers at Broncos (-5.5), 4:40 p.m. ET (CBS) -- The Broncos are heavy favorites early with Ben Roethlisberger (shoulder) and Antonio Brown (concussion) both dealing with injury. Peyton Manning might get a shot at a playoff run after all.

Thoughts?

Happy with that schedule. Can't watch the second game on Sunday will be at work, glad I get to watch the Panthers Excited

At first glance I like all the home teams in a role reversal from the Wild Card round.

Absolutely thrilling weekend of NFL , yesterday couldn't have gone better!!! The Viqueens fcuking up at the death and my beloved Green Bay Packers still aliveLove

Must admit Don Capers is doing a fantastic job with the Packers defence - his play calling is majestic - they may give up the yards but it gets the big plays!!!!

Agree re Packers D......that game would have been over in the first quarter if it wasn't for their excellent plays

Chiefs +4.5 @ 10/11
Packers +7 @ 10/11
Seattle +3 @ 3/4
Steelers +7 @ 10/11

I will take all the dogs with the points.  GL

Think the Pats are awfully short on the moneyline. Half the team is listed as questionable, Gronk has apparently been having knee injections in hospital and the Chiefs are on fire.

In fairness not sure where the knee injections started with , but Gronk said he has definitely not had any knee injections

when ppl categorically, vehemently deny smth you know it's happened
even with a decimated side the cheatriots will probably just about get it done but KC have overachieved so could be interesting

I'm not inclined to bet against a team that's won 11 in a row. NE a bit short, if the Eagles can win in Foxboro then I'm sure KC fancy their chances. Playoffs are a different baw game though.

Is Maclin fit?

Watching brief for the first game to start.

Looking forward to this. Although i think the pats are the likely winners here i can't back them at the prices so it's a wait and see game for me. Good luck all.

Also looking forward to the games. Interesting to see how Green Bay get on with what should be their fully healthy offensive line compared to the shambolic O-line they ended up with in the desert during the regular season - if they can protect that BAD Man the Pack at almost 3/1 will look very big.

It seems to me that everyone knows, that's you, me, Chiefs and even the Patriots themselves know that the only way Patriots win this game against this defense is the same way they beat Seattle - dink and duck their way up the field with quick passes to Edelmann and Gronk hoping to get big yards after the catch. These guys are not 100% fit this is a potentally fatal problem. So spread Chiefs wide? Not an option against that pass rush with a very banged-up OL.

If the Chiefs had Maclin and a more potent offense then I'd say Chiefs all the way, but they don't and that what it makes so hard to call, plus Bellichick's and the Patriots ability to devise a match winning plan. Not convinced about Reid in the really big games (being and Eagles fan) - but he's been in enough to have learned something

Very, very intriguing, looking forward to it. Chiefs to do it - behind, the (for me anyway) very admirable Alex Smith.

EnjoyHappy

I'm beggining to think that perhaps Kansas are still not getting the respect they deserve.
11 straight wins is damn impressive and in that run they are only given up an average of 11.6 points.
starting to like the +5.5 @ 11/10 all of a sudden, especially with Maclin cleared to play, just hope he's fit enough.

we'll find out at the end of the half if it is costly or not

....All in all, not bad for Chiefs - also if they can continue to move the ball like this throughout the game, keeps Brady off the field  (assume he doesn't miss this)
By:

that's true, but maybe they don't score without those timeouts. Think its different when the mess up with not getting correct plays, delay of games etc. To me, it looks like Smith didn't like what he saw - different in the second half of course, they are a bit more valuable
