Not sure how effective he would have been anyway. RB play from the Seahawks will be massive. Michael has good numbers but a small sample size, needs to at least do enough to give the Vikings something to think about. As good as the receivers have been, the conditions will not be conducive to a throw on every play style attack.

what am i missing here?
on the sports book they have "overtime play" - yes at 8/1 but on the regular time match odds it is "tie after normal time" - 14/1 is there a difference i'm not understanding? it's not really a market i have paid much attention to in the past but quite fancy the Chiefs @ Texans to be very tight and possibly overtime. |

ring them north. if you can get a bet on there you are a lucky man....
|
|
By:
i contacted them for a moan pre season when they knocked back a couple of fairly modest season long bets bets and in a surprising turn of events they actually agreed to relax restrictions to a certain extent.
i hardly ever use or had used the sportsbook so seemed a bit strange. i'm still mulling that one over but it is essentially the same bet with different prices in different markets isn't it? |
|
By:
is the 8/1 not for a winner in overtime whereas the 14/1 is for a tie after overtime???
|
|
By:
don't think it is. the markets are "overtime played yes/no" so that's pretty clear & "regular time match odds" HT, KCC & "tie after normal time"
the obvious difference is the second one has 3 outcomes but a 6pt difference is pretty skewed so making me wonder if i'm missing something especially as it is a similar difference on the exchange. it's probably glaringly obvious but i can't see what the difference is, assuming "normal time" means 60 mins. |
|
By:
Ok I not sure what you are asking pal but to me it's pretty straightforward , unless I'm totally missing something now
![]() anyways that's the first time I have ever looked at the sports book and probably the last ![]() ![]() |
|
By:
no i don't look at it much either, as you can probably tell
. they have pushed the tie out to 16/1 now too.all i was really asking was is the yes option of the overtime played bet the same as the tie after normal time bet. i can't see what the difference is and it was only the price discrepancy that was making me wonder. |

Think we are better off keeping it that way

think seahawks are a outstanding bet on the handicap.peterson hates the cold and to much reaction to lynch not playing.not had him for awhile now and they are getting better and better
sneeking fancy for the bengals tonight think they might just run the ball with the two backs and grind out a victory gl all |

Two favourite NFL weekends of the year coming up. Invariably a few crackers in there, and you'd have to expect one this weekend. Particularly looking forward to Bengals and Steelers.
Although I'll be trading in-play, I have my biases and often trade accordingly:- This weekend I really like the Chiefs chances over the Texans. I've had in my mind for quite while that the Steelers look better than they actually are and that if they made the play-offs their suspect defense will catch-up on them. Tonight is night I believe. Williams out (or doubtful at best) obviously makes me more confident and I have been quite impressed by McCarron. Seahawks tomorrow - though Lynch being out is a bit of a blow - but have should have a bit too much for the Vikings. Couldn't call Packers and Redskins - and will be treading cautiously there. If pushed I'd go for Packers, with absolute minimum confidence. Should be great viewing. |

Nellie....steelers have been strong against the run but really poor in the secondary.....if bengals wiln it will be through the air. They have to attack the steelers where they are weak. If bengals run the ball a lot they lose.
