Do these trips to London make money,?say it was Philadelphia, would they not want to come over?i wouldve thought they would or why bother signin up to it at all...
Nice to see final shake up after tomorrows games and see where everyone headed, desperate for Panthers to clinch overall top seed..purely on punting basis.. |

From the Eagles or Giants perspective they will be the designated visitor so its not as bad as if they were the designated home team then they would be playing their butts off to win to avoid going to London - that is a certainty. I suspect (even though away team) avoiding playing in London is still an incentive for both teams.
(The owners agreed - as usual for financial reasons - for the London matches. Obviously US fans hate it and by all accounts the players are not too enamoured by it). |

So hard from a punting perspective these games. You would think Carolina should be fine, Tampa have nothing to play for and would be better served losing for draft position. Should be an easy win. Should. Hope it's a blow out so they can rest Cam and a few others early. The Packers v Vikings game is an interesting one, winner likely gets Seahawks at home with beast mode back, loser gets Redskins away. Are you better off losing? That is assuming of course the Cards hold serve at home to Seattle. Seattle really need to get to the finish line without further injuries.
One bet for me will be New England on the handicap, live game for them needing to guarantee home field and Miami have well and truly given it up for the year. Edelman likely to see some action. |

Although going to Washington is in theory a much easier game than hosting Seattle - home field is much more rewarding financially

Personally think both would want the home field.

i had a wee pre season bet on Arizona (actually it was after week 3) to be top points scorer. thought it was done with
Carolina 4pts ahead going into last weeks games but an amazing 25pt swing now makes things look good now. i have this nagging feeling that the situation could be reversed this week tho with Carolina scoring something like 38 in a blow out v Tampa & with Arizona having the 2nd seed wrapped up not bothering too much with likes of Palmer, Fitzgerald & Johnson kept off the field in a lot of plays. don't fancy them chasing more than 17. 21pts up so can't complain too much tho although if it does go down by a point or 2 i shall be thinking of the 4 extra points missed this season. Coach Arians says he won't be resting players and will be trying to keep the intensity up. He seems a straight guy but talk is cheap. |

After being stung on the Steelers last week i've stepped in for another go this week and backed them to cover....feel they out-schemed themselves a little lass week and went away from the pass too much in first half mixed in with some poor play from big Ben.... they can't afford another sub par performance and can't see an Austin Davis led Browns being able to hang with them.
Good luck everyone. |

main bet for me tonight is the jets
also had a bit on them -3 |

Still no sign of Kev - although quite like Dara. Can't find any news on the net which is unusual.
Surely they wouldn't just ditch him without saying anything? Anyone any idea? |

Dara fan here

For what its worth, taking a watching brief on all 6pm games as yet, although i've got a feeling that buffalo will spoil the jets party.

Can't listen to Dara ..... looks good though.

Fitzpatrick playing like a rabbit in the headlights
By:
The Jets have been BRUTAL. U would think the Bills were the team going for a play-off place.
By:
Is Fitzpatrick drunk today?
By:
Playing like it. Just backed the jets for some strange reason!
By:
Have the Jets just woken up at last?
By:
Made a good early profit here backing "the wind" against the offenses - then expected Jets defense to step up, hasn't happened and had to give some back.

Remarkably flat game by pats considering what's up for grabs.

Feel for the jets, but excited to see the steelers in the playoffs.
By:
why are the steelers so short for the superbowl compared to say the bengals?
By:
Plenty of money trying to go against CAR now. Another 1/4 gubbing coming up?
By:
Typical Jets... gotta feel for their fans ( Hanzus will be feeling it on Around the NFL podcast
)......Steelers been poor the last two weeks but have sneaked in - their running game could be a worry for play offs |
By:
On the past few weeks, the Chiefs look players for the AFC.
By:
One of the Bengal players just poured a massive bucket of ice cold water over the coach's head. He looked absolutely furious

Just no clear winner in either division for me at present.... roll on next week
By:
Anything on the line for chiefs tonight?
By:
No bets today, week 17 one to sit out for me and nothing appeals in late games. Happy to watch the hockey tonight.
By:
Surely Panthers should take care of business?
By:
Could win division if they win and broncos lose macca.

By:
Agree swardean. Too many other variables can have an impact on decisions performance etc

Although i do like the packers in the late game.
