Like you, I was waiting on Carolina to fall off the rails, but I have changed my mind. They can do everything and Cam Newton looks super human.

Why is a proved goal scorer like Defoe sitting on the bench?

No idea...i've always been a massive fan of his but was disappointed with him last season bar the one goal Love but he's been a lot better this season......only looked like scoring yesterday when him and Johnson came on the field.

Well done Jedi sophie. You are in a strong position. You have to hold the bet until the end of the season at least as the price will only drop further if they keep winning and possibly their 1st play off game, depending on who they get. Seahawks are your main obstacle and if I were you, I would be hoping they get dumped in the Wild Card. Good luck. Grin

Bit miffed as I backed them at big prices the last couple of years and they also did the business in the divisional betting at nice prices (when everyone rated the Saints).

Not a bean on them this year, all my cash on Seattle.  Looks an inevitable matchup in the divisional playoff matches.  They have played each other in the last 3 seasons and all games have been very tight (seattle edging it 2-1).   Likely tight again.

Can't wait and way the Seattle secondary have stepped up recently I actually like the Seattle matchups

Go Panthers,What a Game....

Teams like New Orleans and the Giants have put up big scores on this Panthers D in recent weeks.....I would expect an offence like the steelers to blow them away in the super bowl.....just how would josh Norman cover? You gave to cover three brilliant steeler receivers.
The Steelers win the super bowl as I have been saying for a long time. Who stops this offence?
By:

When: 21 Dec 15 17:22
The steelers secondary is much worse than Carolina's.  Panthers could live with the Steelers in a shootout plus the steelers have a complete clown as a coach.

The steelers D in the second half last night were good. They play like that and no one stops them
By:

When: 21 Dec 15 17:36
Broncos were awful second half , no run game made it easy for the steelers.  I do think the steelers are a very good team on offence but you seem to be just writing Carolina off.  They and the Cardinals are a better team than the steelers plus the seahawks would beat the steelers imo.
By:
ClayDavis
When: 21 Dec 15 17:42
The Seahawks only beat the Steelers because of bad calls and stupid steelers mistakes. Big Ben put up over 500 yards on the Seahawks......that is brutal stuff.

No way in god's earth are the cardinals better than the steelers. The steelers proved that earlier in the season and the steelers are far far better now.

Denver's D is best in league by a long way and the Steelers carved it open last night

Btw I'm a huge riverboat and Cam fan, they gave every chance in NFC
By:

When: 21 Dec 15 17:46
You hate the seahawks so you are biased against them, the seahawks beat them fair and square.  The Cards are better both sides of the ball than the steelers.  I love Antonio Brown and big ben can be amazing but their secondary is gash, their run game is nowhere near as good as the cards and the cards have been putting up big points all year.
By:
ClayDavis
When: 21 Dec 15 17:51
Errrrrr you seem to be ignoring the Steelers beating the Cardinals earlier in the season with fecking Landry Jones at QB......mark my words, the steelers have improved ten fold since then.

No way or the Cardinals better. No way at all
By:
dlarssonf
When: 21 Dec 15 18:02
So you are basing it on one off results.  Baltimore beat the Steelers this year ffs.
By:
ClayDavis
When: 21 Dec 15 18:08
No, not at all but you are saying that cardinals are better than the steelers and I was pointing out the steelers beat them without one of their main men.
As you know the super bowl is often won by a team that catches fire late and this steelers team is in fire.

The steelers have had bell suspended and then injured. Big Ben injured twice. And Bryant missing. They have now finally got all their receivers back and fit. Big Ben is back. Yes they miss the best running back in the league but Williams has done a fine job as a replacement

When: 21 Dec 15 18:13
No I am agreeing with you regard the steelers ,their offence is lethal in the passing game and their secondaty is absolute gash. I have already said they have a good chance with that offence. I just don't agree with your quick dismissal of firstly the panthers and then the cardinals. Both of these teams are a much more balanced team the the steelers imo but of course anything can happen in a one off match.  I personally think the seahawks win the lot and they only win from the AFC that can win it for me are the pats

Going to be fun to find out.   With  their remaining schedule they should win out and hence get 5th seed.   I think Kansas win the division, so Steelers route to superbowl

Could be:-

@ Houston
@ New England
@ Kansas

AFC mirroring NFC in a hot team in 5th seed likely to play a poor 4th seed.

Obviously most people hate the Cowboys for whatever reason but as a fan I don't think I have seen a team lose games, in terms of any sport in general, in so many different and mostly horrifically unfortunate ways this season. Some of it was their own doing as in the players / coaches under-performing etc but only Cowboys fans who have watched every single game like me would appreciate the almost unbelievable season they have had! That said, they will get a high first round draft pick and this seasons strong draft will benefit them next season and the defense has really improved. Johnny Manziel (backup for Romo for 1-2 years then let him run it for x years), Demarco Murray - bring back the downhill runner, retain Greg Hardy as he was brought in as a player regardless of his background and judging him on his play I think he would do very well next season wherever he plays as he probably this season to shake off some rust off and I feel he has generally played well. Finally I would like them to bring in Sean Payton but that is obviously not going to happen as I can't see JJ giving up control of his baby! If they make the right moves in the closed season then the 'Boys will put this season behind them.

Any way, with the 'Boys irrelevant until September 2016, the show must go on.

Regards the Seahawks v Pittsburgh game, I thought Pittsburgh were slighter stronger but their terrible secondary obviously let them down. That said I was impressed with Wilson, he has come on this season I think the early school of hard knows earlier in the season has actually helped and credit to him the past month-6 weeks. My problem with Seattle is that they would most likely have to beat both the Panthers and then the Cardinals/Packers (Packers all day long for me against the Cards) on the road - I could see them beating the Panthers as I think they are a great match up for them but I don't see them beating the Packers at Lambeau. I just can't get out of the head the performance by the Packers away to Seattle last season, I hadn't seen a team essentially school Seattle like that for 55 minutes in their own backyard. It was just so impressive, yes Nelson is injured this season but if the Pack can get some of their offensive lineman back on the field then I just see Rodgers getting the job done at home. I think the Packers' offense has improved in recent weeks, there were shoots of positive offensive play against the Cowboys and last week agains Oakland but in both games there was a lull which has been the worry almost all season as I didn't think they were as impressive as most thought early doors, it was more Rodgers just playing in the zone for me. I just think Rodgers and Lacy will get the offense rocking and rolling in the play offs, when it actually matters so I will predict that if Seattle avoid Lambeau they will make the Superbowl, if they don't then I see the Packers reaching the Superbowl.

Regarding my thoughts on the AFC well I got bored of writing so much - hopefully I didn't bore everyone with my comments! Crazy

Hey Rhino,Whats your thoughts now,you takin more out of bet or lettin roll now??
I didnt take a penny out before last night.probably wrong thing to do but worked out for once..As confident of whuppin broncos as was of whuppin cards. However probs need to take sumin out the bets,or be divorced.LaughLaughLaugh
Thought Panthers incredibly impressive last night and if there werent worries over T Davis an J Allen i dont think be tempted to lay off at all.Just look so confident.Think give Denver D lots more to think of than Pats passpasspass...

I've taken out enough to jump on a plane to anywhere Jedi. Not sure yet bout taking out anymore, like you I think they'll win it all. The Broncos were the team I wanted from the AFC. Was in similar position numerous times in the golf last year and stubbornly refused to yield and was let down again and again, ended up a negative year for the first time in a while. Not going down that road this time.

Leave it weighted toward Panthers, I think evening out is going too far but please mate, make sure you take something. If the unexpected happens, you will be kicking yourself and will feel more deflated than a game ball handled by Tom Brady DevilGrin
