Amazing the different impressions we get as people. Here I was thinking last week was fairly straight forward, winners aplenty and found strong arguments for plays everywhere. First look this week has revealed sweet bugger all in terms of angles. None harder than the Thursday night in my opinion, a desperate Ravens on the road against a Ben-less Steelers to go off faves. Surely Vick's last shot, and he has runs on the board but has it all passed him by? Am a massive believer in Flacco, but he can't do it alone. Should they really be faves at 0-3? Fascinating contest on paper.

Ha it is funny that we get different impressions alright Rhino
I would be for example be far from a massive believer in Flacco. Although Thursday's game is one where I don't think I would be going near at all. Regardless of Big Ben , the steelers are a team I just can't predict , one game they look like world beaters , the next they look awful. Personally think a lot of the problem is Tomlin - he makes some real head scratching decisions to me and has rode his luck a lot at the Steelers |

I agree about the Thursday game, could go any way and by any distance. Problem for me is, I get to see so few NFL live games a year as I'm an Aussie and the time difference is impossible with the work schedule, and I am home for this one and will be itching for a bet as I watch
Hopefully a quick 14-0 lead for either team and I can lay some low odds and hope for some swings. |

Haha Rhino , yeah I'm in Ireland so it's a little easier for me than you seeing the games - although sometimes that's not always a good thing

Get the feeling Thursday's game will go right down to the wire. Might come down to which QB can lead their team down the field late in the 4th and you would have to favour Flacco. Saying that, with Pittsburgh's affinity for 2 point conversions it wouldn't surprise me if only 1 point or 2 separated them in the end so I wouldn't want to be backing the Ravens giving 2.5 points.
LeVeon Bell is gunna see alot of the ball. Baltimore not the easiest team to run against but Vick isn't as mobile as he once was so I expect alot of checkdowns to Bell when they bring pressure. Will be playing the over on the receiving yards for Bell if somebody prices it up around +/- 45yards. If not, over on the combined rushing and receiving yards at around 115 yards. Nothing really stands out Sunday, might play Washington getting +3.5 at home to the eagles. Other I like is Atlanta. I'm a big fan of Houston's defence but don't see how they can keep up with the Falcons Sunday away from home with the QB they have. Can see them winning by double digits. |

I found this week tough. My one big play is the Jers. The Dolphins have been garbage all 3 games. They are a Landry punt return away from being 0-3. No fight, no desire, no confidence.
The Jets for me in a proper ugly game |

Baltimore and Pittsburgh is always one of the best divisional rivalries. Have got 11/4 Cincy for the division and don't know which outcome is best for me on Thursday. As far as Sunday goes I like San Fran as a home underdog against Green Bay. A road trip after a Monday night is never good, and surely San Fran have more to offer than they have shown for the last two weeks. Also thinking about Dallas as a road underdog,as I think if Brees plays he will struggle to impact the game , with his injured shoulder. Looking forward to Wembley, as you say Clay proper ugly - are you going to the game?

Backed over 44 points in tonight's game and now it's down to 43.5. Only half a point but it's still frustrating when this happens - never mind looking forward to a good one.

Yeah true bankit, also got on over 21.5 points by half time.

Looking forward to watching Michael Pick in action tonight. Should be a good laugh.

Pretty confident Vick can get the ball down the field if he throws to Black and Gold jerseys or White jerseys - it should all be good for the points total

Flacco is very good, he throws one of the best deep balls in the nfl imo. Problem is they dont really have any deep threats and apart from Smith Sr no one seems to be able to get open. They also haven't been able to run the ball effectively which has put more pressure on Flacco. Pittsburgh will be without inside linebacker Ryan Shazier one of their best defenders against the run. Pittsburgh have been good against the run and Baltimore haven't run well so his absence may or may not be a factor.
Pittsburgh on the other hand have two of the best playmakers in the nfl on their offense, wide receiver Antonio Brown and Leveon Bell who must be close to being the best running back going around. With big Ben out and Vick starting at qb for the Steelers, how involved he is able to keep the Steelers star playmakers remains an unknown. One plus for him is the Ravens defensive leader and best pass rusher Terrel Suggs (47 sacks in his last 4 full seasons) is out for the rest of the year. |

Leaning towards under 44.

Big Ben is a big out for the Steelers and I tend to think the Ravens will win. However they are 0-3, are on the road for this game and are nearly 3 point favourites, which I dont think represents a great deal of value.

Gone for the Steelers on the moneyline think they will edge it at home.

Ravens over 22.5 points, wait and see to get involved on the ML.

Baltimore tight-end Crockett Gilmore is out tonight. He is their 2nd leading receiver and equal leading touchdown scorer so far.
Back up tight-ends Maxx Williams (17/1 first TD) and Nick Boyle (40/1 first TD) should see more action tonight. |

Geez Jim Nantz has it hard. Poor fella has to cover the NFL, PGA Tour and March Madness basketball. Poor fella, must be excruciating.
Looks a long night for the Steelers. |
