The NRL finals have been good, they always are.  I like the way Wigan are playing in the SL, I think they can win it, think it could be a Wigan v St Helens final.  Haven't liked what I've seen of Leeds.
As far as the rugby union world cup I'd be happy with anyone but the Allblacks.  France seemed value to me when I checked the market a couple months ago, they were around 30/1 and thought that to be strange considering its in the northern hemisphere and they were unlucky beaten finalists last time in New Zealand.

yeah I think it's pretty open if the allblacks aren't as dominant as markets suggest.  I thought the allblacks were extremely lucky to beat France on home soil in the final at the last world cup.  They turn up at this wc 4 years later with much the same team, in the northern hemisphere, albeit with probably a better team on paper.
