I have some futures bets on the Cardinals for the Division, the NL pennant and the World Series..

Just wondering if there could be any penalties for them in relation to the FBI investigation where they are alleged to have been hacking the databases of other teams.

Is there any precedent with teams having their points stripped off them in MLB  like in football and other sports?

I don't think a team have ever been docked wins or been given outright bans before.   If I had to guess I would say that the punishment will be either

A). A huge fine.
B.) Loss of Draft picks
C.) Both a huge fine and loss of draft picks.

As well as bans and fines for the individual people involved and of course criminal charges may be brought against the individuals.

But taking the profit is probably the safest play.

Looks like Cardinals have the green light.

Can't see anyone stopping them now.

You can`t win them all.

Yeah. No chance when Molina got injured. Probably wouldn't of beaten the Mets anyway the way they're playing.  Glad I took the green early and Cards were to short to back again late in the season.
