With the draft beginning on Thursday, does anyone have any opinions on which players there favourite team will select?
Is Winston the right pick at number 1?
Who takes the chance on Mariota?
Which team will cause a stir by making a ridiculous trade?

There are rumours that the chargers might trade Rivers in order to get Mariota.
I can't see it myself and rate Jameis Winston as a better QB and likely pick for Tampa Bay.
Chargers will possibly take a second round QB instead and seem keen on the kid from UCLA (can't remember his name).

I'm not sold on the Winston or Mariota. Winston has a cannon for an arm but was wild at times last year. Also the vision of him screaming at his coach in the Rose Bowl game is a worrying sign. He didn't seem to handle the pressure well when things went against him.
Mariota just doesn't look like an NFL qb. I'm not sure he can make NFL type throws.
There will be value qb's available in the later rounds with Hundley, Mannion, Petty and Halliday.

Throwing 18 ( i think that's the number ) interceptions in your final college season doesn't bode well for when you're facing NFL defences

Less than Marino then :)  The biggest problem for Winston is going to Tampa.  For all his talent he's a trainwreck off the field, Florida probably isn't the best place for him and it could all go a bit Josh Freeman

The Eagles are desperate for Mariota and offering all sorts to move up.  As a prospect he's way behind Winston but may well end up being more successful just by landing at a better team

I think the Chargers done the best business by getting Melvyn Gordon. He was just 44 yards short of Barry Sanders all time NCAA rushing yards total. Provided he doesn't get hurt he can be a franchise player
I have backed him to win ROTY unfortunately for them and him.
