Getting towards the crunch end of the season where the vast majority of games are carrying some sort of play off implication.

Looking forward to watching the browns and bengals purely due to johnny football. I personally don't buy into him at this stage of his pro career and believe the bengals take this, certainly wouldn't be having the browns odds on with a rook qb making his first nfl start.

I also sneakily fancy the texans to shock the colts, certainly like houston with the points. Think the colts performances have dropped slightly of late and luck continues to bail them out. JJ watt to have a big game as seems normal every sunday, and houston ride their defence to keep this close if not even take the win.

Other picks i fancy, the chargers, buccs and cowboys.

Good luck all.

Good luck Sudoku....not a BIG fan of this late in the season betting with play off implications on the line.....

I have backed the Packers though - 3.5....i know that Buffalos front four is excellent but just feel that the Pack have enough on offence to win a probable close one.....

Hoping that disastrous second half display by the defence on Monday night football was just an abberation after playing much better lately.
Report bobby 1 December 14, 2014 4:53 PM GMT
bengals are a huge price, probably lose by 4 scores now.
having said that still backed them.

BuffaloHappy.....maybe just maybe could do this.

Wearing an unashamedly biased Eagles hat .....  need Detroit and Arizona to win their divisions - we ain't beating Seahawks or Packers on the road.

Nervous about tonight as well, think Eagles offense is getting rumbled.

I think johnny football is going to learn about the NFL the hard way.

Rarely do you see Rodgers and his receivers so far out of sync.

Lacy tearing it up Happy...57 yards on that scoring drive.

It's ok talking the talk but you gotta walk the walk. Some vets in the league will really want to teach him a lesson. You got to earn your stripes.

Ties worst first half performance of his career....hasn't been under a lot of extreme pressure either....him and his receivers just outta sync.

Buffalo haven't been able to move the ball in first half.

I see. i'll admit i have just seen the stats. Haven't seen any of the play. Buffalo D is fearsome though.
Report grayhawk December 14, 2014 9:00 PM GMT
Oh i know that...thought that if Buffalo were to win that he would be under duress all day but that isn't the case....not sure if hes been sacked or not.

Could be MASSIVE for Seahawks.

Bad loss for Green Bay, but they really have had a soft schedule and won games against poor defenses.    It will be interesting to see how they perform in the playoffs in forced to go on the road

soft schedule compared to who though??  Granted the defence isn't great at times ( Mason Crosby is a bigger worry for me ) but can make the big plays.  Only team I would be afraid of is Seattle against the Packers

as the packers i mean

Report dlarssonf December 15, 2014 12:05 AM GMT
It was 3 before today's loss for the dolphins, NFC is a tougher conference and have beaten the best team in the AFC.  If they play their best in particular Aaron Rodgers they only team that can beat them is Seattle for me.  Obviously any can happen on any given day , but Green Bay would be one of the last teams I would want to face in the playoffs
Report dlarssonf December 15, 2014 12:06 AM GMT
Seahawks look scary again and homefield advantage for them Swardean frightens meLaugh
Report Sudoku_Junior December 15, 2014 12:06 AM GMT
Was just trying to envisage a scenario where if the lions win the division, the packers miss the playoffs, but after a quick check, if they occupy the wildcard spot and finish with an identical record to either the cowboys or the eagles they should be in
Report Sudoku_Junior December 15, 2014 12:06 AM GMT
i think

packers have beaten eangles, so if between them, then packers on h2h.    If it was against Dallas, I think GB win again with better division/conference record

I know what you mean about packers.  Any team with Rodgers if dangerous.  But my point was about them losing home field advantage after today results, my stat about their record against teams over .500 looks worrying as both them wins were at home.   Lions/Packers game coming up will be a cracker
Report Sudoku_Junior December 15, 2014 12:16 AM GMT
Cowboys for me in the later game. Good luck all.
Report dlarssonf December 15, 2014 12:21 AM GMT
That's fair enough Swardean I don't really rate any of the teams in the AFC , apart from New England & on their day the steelers. NFC it's Seattle & Green Bay for me.  Yeah huge Game now between the Lions & Packers , hopefully a cracker with a Green Bay win Wink
Report Wallflower December 15, 2014 12:39 AM GMT
...mmm, wouldn't see anyone in NFC (outside of Packers and Seahawks) capable of beating Patriots or Broncos. I think Patriots are the best in the NFL.

Looking at the "best of the rest"  Steelers, Ravens, Bills, Colts, Chiefs........in comparison to Eagles, Cowboys, Lions, Cardinals??  Don't see much difference.

Packers just beaten by AFC team who may not even make play-offsConfused
Report dlarssonf December 15, 2014 12:45 AM GMT
Yeah Packers had a poor day which has happened every team in the NFL this year. I think the Packers would beat Denver But I agree the Pats are a great team and I think they win the AFC.
Report Wallflower December 15, 2014 12:51 AM GMT
If I was going for a real outsider  (excluding Patriots, Broncos, Seahawks, Packers - call them the "big 4" for this purpose)......I'd go for Ravens or Steelers because I think they could put a run together.

Eagles, Cowboys, Cardinals, Colts, Bengals, Chiefs, Bills could beat any of the "big 4" but just all so "flakey" in their own way (Cardinals excepted, just so banged-up)- just don't seem capable to me of putting in 3-4 solid games in a row.
Report Wallflower December 15, 2014 12:52 AM GMT
...meaning beat them on a given day...
Report dlarssonf December 15, 2014 12:53 AM GMT
Yeah for some reason I think the steelers may have a say , they would be the best outsider for me.
